Nasty rash - TMI?

by lfb, Jul 02, 2007 12:00AM
This is a gross question, but I need some relief.  I just got back from vacation where I walked around in a wet bathing suit all day and wore a skirt and was delayed for 5 hours in the airport yesterday.  Anyway, now I have this nasty rash between my legs at the top where they rub and it burns really bad.  What do you think it is and what do I do to clear it up?  I am 33 weeks pregnant and can't wait for 7 weeks to pass!!

I think it's probably just skin chafing (I think that's how you spell it).  My brother use to get it every time we went to the beach.  My mom use to put vasaline on it to keep it from drying and rubbing against the other leg, but I don't know if this will help clear it up.  It was not a doctor's order either...she just did it to make my brother feel better.

I hope this helps!

Hi there. I would try diaper rash cream. I know it sounds weird but it really works. When I have any kind of rash I use diaper rash cream for a couple of days and it clears it up completely. I hope it helps you as well.

diapper rash is very good, i used to use baby powder when i have something like this, leave baby powder on and it will calm it, or you can use "vagisil", i have these rash too much in summer time and vagisil really help, you can find it at any pharmacy, or kroger, farmer jack.....
