Need an answer

So my husband and I have just recently decided to start trying. I haven't had a period since August 3rd(first day of last period). Since i am writing on this forum i am obviously stressed(Happily Stressed might I add if by some miracle I am pregnant!) by the fact that I have not gotten my period since then and we're almost into October.I did around the 8th of this month have some spotting with light cramping nothing to bad. I now don't have any sign that my period is going to make it's grand arrival anytime soon. I have been to the doctors and have taken including the one at the doctors office 7 pregnancy test; all with negative results. I have read in places that to much sex could make your period late, but our routine has not been any different. I had a sonogram today with a technician(who couldn't give me any answers) but did say that the doctor would call. My question is what could cause my period to be this late? I do realize that their is a number of probable answers and do appreciate the feed back!

Well sometimes stress can cause you to miss a cycle and your said that lately you have been happily stressed.

i have done a leparotomy on 27th of august... i have 9.5 cm cyst in right ovary.. but i m now very worried because my right ovary has also removed along with the cyst.. now i hav only left ovary.. im married and has no child till yet... i m very worried tht whether i will concieve pregnency along with one ovary ?can anyone tell me...plz...

were you on birth control and just stopped taking it to start trying to conveive? If so, that could make your periods irregular. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that it is a pregnancy. Are you on any folic acid? If not, you may want to ask for it from your doctor since, even if you arent pregnant, you are trying. Good Luck
