Need ideas for baby names

I am pregnant with my third boy and just can't find a name. I've never had so much trouble finding a name. I'm already 20 weeks and by now I usually have a name. I picked out my first son's name when I was twelve. I got real big into astrology and I am an Aries and thought that would be a good name. With my second son I had a little trouble but knew I wanted something original and something from the bible so came up with Eden. I like new names that no one else has. My name is Meghan and about 20 other girls I went to school with had the same name. I hated it. Does anyone have a good name that they have never heard before or rarely ever hear? I'm afraid I'll end up in labor at the hospital and still have no name for my baby. It has to sound good and not be one that's easily made fun of and fit in with Aries Exzavier and Eden Wayne.

Thanks for the reply. Matheson sounds okay but I think that's a pretty common name. With my last son early in my pregnancy before I decided to take something from the bible I was thinking Trenton but then I heard that someone else had just had a boy and chose that name. What do think of it though? Also I like Zaden but I think it sounds too much like Eden and we just lost Eden to a heart defect and we don't want to in anyway try to replace him and I feel that Zaden is just too close to Eden and it just seems strange to give this baby a name that's so close to Eden. What do you think about Zaden and the similarity to Eden?

I don't know if it would be considered for both boys and girls but how about Genesis?  I know someone who named their boy that and someone who used it for a girl... so I guess it can be for both!

How about Xander??  It ties in with your first son's middle name and is so cute!  Could be spelled with a Z...

Or Esau (to go with the Bible theme and also a vowel)..

I actually thought about Xander but it stems from Alexander and that's a real common name. I got it off of Joe Dirt. I thought of the name Xander Kelly and couldn't figure out where it came from but knew I heard it before and it was on Joe Dirt.

Thank You. I do like Beckett and Nolan. I just thought of something. What about Shepherd???? Shep for short. Or does that sound like a dog name? I'm very picky about the names I chose. I don't want my baby to get made fun of just for his name. I don't want him to hate his name as I do either. I always wanted to change my name to Elyse Cook. Elyse is my middle name and Cook is my step dad's name. I really like that name. Sounds like an actresses name. That's just a bunch of blabbering though. So what about Shepherd?

I don't think it would be disrespectful to Eden's memory to use Zaden.  A child is born into the family as it is the day he arrives, with its losses and memories and all.  It could be seen (to the extent that it is considered similar by anyone) as a tribute.  My niece recently named her son Harrison, but she was considering Zaden Jack.  It was very cute and I was sorry she didn't use it.

Thanks tanker chic. I thought so. not only that but Shep sounds kinda like a dogs name. I'm just so lost. I went through tons of name books and even looked up on the computer and cannot find a name. Nothing seems good enough. If nothing else I might just go with Zaden or Xander. Those names have been in my head for over a year now. Or maybe Trenton. I like that too. I been thinking of any geographical place I could use as a name, colors, any object at all. Azul ran in and out of my head but I'm not sure about that one. I'm not sure about anything, I'm going crazy. I'm known around my town as having the neatest names, I like having new original names. Thanks again for your input. I'm am writing down ones that sound alright so I can keep them in front of me and keep thinking about it. I have gotten a few I kinda like. Any opinion on Azul though? It's a hue of the color blue.... I think.

Boy names are much harder than girls.  There are so many more options for girls.  I like Trenton... different but not way out there...

I really like the name Avery but the few people i brought it up to said they thought it was a girls name.  I think it could go either way.

No I like Avery. I haven't though of that. I don't think it's a girls name. It's a guys name on some movie. I can't remember the name of it but Bradd Pitt is in it and his name is Trystin in the movie. What the heck is it called?....The guy Avery is supposed to be Bradd Pitts brother in the movie. Now it's gana kill me all day until I figure out the name of that movie. I really do like Avery though. I'll have to ask my husband about it. I might have to call him at work just to ask. I can never wait for anything.

I have an ex brother in law with the name phoenix and he was crazy. I'm kinda supersticious about names. I don't name my kids after crazy people with the same name.
---THank you everyone for your replies. I talked to my husband and he seems to like Avery too. I think we might go with that. Thank you Tanker Chic for that idea. Other than once or twice in a movie, I have not heard that name before so it's kinda original and it seems to fit with Eden and Aries. Thank you all. I think I have a name now. Now my husband has to find a middle name. That's how we do it.

P.S. My daughter's name is Avery and when I was pregnant with her everyone was like isn't that a boy's name? It typically was a male name but apparently I picked one of the most popular girl names in the past few years. After I had my daughter there were 3 more Avery's born in our area and they were all girls-one even has the same last name! I thought I picked something unique-lol! I loved the name for years-who knew!!

Avery is a common girls name down south.  

I do like Shepherd, and love Shep for short.  I think if you push the nickname the teasing won't be quite as common, and when he's older he will like having a name that's different but not crazy!

After I had Aries the next year his name ws a top 10 name and back in February my friend said that Eden had become a top name. My son actually has a stuffed animal he named Jackson and when I asked him what to name the baby he said Jackson. He really likes that name. My sister in law thinks I should stick with Zaden. I had picked that out a long time ago but for reason's already mentioned decided against it. I will let you know what we decide to stick with.

I'm going to look like a big dork here, but did anyone watch the movie (or read the book) "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" (oh wait, the movie was actually called "Narnia").  Anyway... I can't remember exactly what it was, but I remember liking the name of the lion in the movie.  And of course there's the religious connection to the movie, but I suppose that's not the same as picking a true biblical name, huh?  Um.. I think it was Azriel or something along those lines.  I think it sounds different.  

However, I think both Zaden and Avery are wonderful choices!

What about mythology names. Anyone know of any neat mythology names? My sister actually thought of Medusa I think it was (the lady with the snake hair????)to name her baby but decided not to. I now can't seem to remember anything I learned in mythology but I used to really be into mythology and have always been into Astrology as per the name Aries, but if anyone can think of names pertaining to these subjects that would be very welcome. Still haven't decided on any one name so still taking suggestions. I'm sure other women would like to hear names too. I have heard things about many other pregnant women on this forum who might be looking for a name too. I think I might check out that trendy baby names sight.

I knew a man named Zeno. I think that's from mythology. He named his daughter Zena. :)

April-------Thanks for all your suggestions. Cade, Ethan, and Hayden are ruled out because I have a son named Eden, who actually passed away (his first birthday was yesterday) but we don't want a name that will remind us of Eden every time we say it. Also all the names these days end with den or aden.

I actually have a list of names I think we might use but Jaison is supposed to choose which ones he likes then find one from those. They are: Trenton, Reagan, Reiley, Kyler, Kyce, Emery, Avery and Xander.

I really am leaning toward Kyce, which is in NO names list I've been though, which is what I'm looking for, something original. and Kyler. However Kyce has no meaning because it's not on the names list and Kyler means Archer and I'm not sure I like that. I like names with real meaning. Like Aries, my 4 year old, means strong, noble creature, it stands for the Ram. And I can't remember right now what the actually meaning of Eden is but we named him after the Garden of Eden. I think it means paradise.
