Needing De-Stressing Techniques

Needing De-Stressing Techniques

So... here I am only a few days away from being a wife (my 2nd marriage).... and less than 2 weeks away from being a new mother (for the 3rd time).  I'm about to lose my mind over the last minute details of the wedding (I'm now grateful I eloped with my first marriage, even though I did regret it later)... and the terrifying thoughts there of about being married again.

Not to mention trying to make sure all the "details" of the birth are settled (the who/when/where/how/etc)... I'm still trying to borrow a camera to get some preggo pictures of myself, I want to remember this pregnancy after all it has taken to bring this baby into the world... And the frustration of knowing when I'll be back to work, such little time home with the baby, knowing I won't be sleeping through a night for a long time, and praying everything goes well... and that I don't totally lose my mind mothering 3 children.

Anyhow, I'm not very good at destressing, usually I will take a bath or sleep to chill out.  But I am going to need a lot more to get through the next two weeks.  So, can I get some suggestions, links to internet sites, etc?  I'm so stressed and worried right now, I don't think the Celexa is keeping up... I just want to cry and it's mostly out of frustration and worry.

Oh, you poor dear. You are going through 2 major life changing events at once plus the hormones of pregnancy alone would make you overwhelmed. I don't really have any great advice, hopefully somebody else will. But, we are all here to listen to each other. That helps me. I also like to have a massage, pedicure, manicure, etc. Make sure to schedule time in for you to relax or hide somewhere, lol. And be sure to drink lots and lots of fluids.(I know, I sound like your mother, right?) Seriously, you have to take care of you first bc of that little one in you. Best wishes and one day at a time. Also, when I have a lot of things to do, I make a list and check them off when completed. It almost helps to get it all down on paper and out of your mind-so to speak.

I started handing out lists to family/friends about the day before the wedding and the day of the wedding and what they each need to do.  LOL  I of course have a majority of the things, and I didn't count on my parents for anything other than to drive me to the site.  And I have my 14 yr old double checking me and my almost 10 yr old... lol .  I'm so paranoid something will be forgotten about that is important for the wedding....

Or that I'll get in the L&D and because we couldn't make the child birthing classes things will be really awkward.... and when we get home I'll be overwhelmed.
