i can also tell you that the times I have been pregnant I've had the same symptoms you've had that early so it is possible you are. blood test or waiting it out are the only ways to know for sure.
I have been off BC since April of 2004 and my cycles started out 27-29 days. Then, I had a period that was 7 days late in August with nausea and fatigue. Wasn't pregnant. Then, my next two cycles were 21 days and 18 days in September. In October, they returned to normalNormal saline flush or 28-32 days.
My point is that hormones, stress, etc. affect our bodies in different ways. The OTC tests are pretty accurate and are generally what doctor's offices use. If your insurance pays for it, I would ask for a blood test. If not, you might just wait until next cycle as it is normalNormal saline flush to miss a period every now and then. If nothing is wrong, it should work itself out next month. Good luck!!
You might want to wait a couple of days and do another test. If it turns positive soon enough, don't worry. If your test continues to be negative, call your doctor for a blood test.
I conceived after 6 weeks from my LMP. (Shouldn't it be 2 wks?) I'm not sure if it's good to conceive from an overriped egg. In my case, I ultimately miscarriaged at 9 weeks, 13 weeks after my LMP.
I would say to contact your doctor and get a beta hcg (blood) test to be sure. That's what I'm doing because I don't feel quite right and wish to know as soon as possible. Though, I have heard some physicians won't order the test until you are a few weeks late.
Good luck to you! I hope, since you ARE trying, that things work out just the way you and your hubby desire! :) God bless!
I called the doctor to make an appointment for a blood test but they told me to wait till next week and take another pregnancy test. I'm a week late. I'm still having strange feelings in my lower abdomen and sometimes I feel swollen. Is this normal to feel swollen in the lower abdomen in early pregnancy.
Any more news? I also have a hugely inflated tum at the grand old stage of 7wks, I think its partly due to my having a bit of a tum to start with (split abdomini recti muscles from 4 previous babies), and that I am prone to retaining water, and I was wondering if I had a food allergy - I blew up like a barrage ballon today after a drink of milk. I just read that it could be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. Any more info gratefully received.
I don't wanna sound negative, but I have been trying to get Pgnt for long time too (1year) after my M/C, and every month my period is 2 or 3 days late i think this is it and start wondering why my breast are sore and think that i have nausea and fatigue but it turns out that it all in my imagination; because i want to happen so bad.
I really whish you good luck and hope you are pregnant, please do the blood test and let us know.
