Negative tests but still pregnant.

Hi all,

I am TTC with my partner and am feeling a little low so am hoping to hear some good stories. In sept my period was 6 weeks late, 7 negative HPT and 1 negative blood work. Finally period came. Here we are again now- 10 days late, sore nipples, bloating feeling in my pelvis. 2 negative HPT but I think I have tested too early. My periods are fairly irregular (33-36 days) anyway so I might not be as late as I think but definitely late. How long did it take you to get pregnant and what tests did you take, how long until you took the test? Is there any difference between the cheap and the expensive tests?

it is soo hard to wait the two weeks that are recommended.... But u really should. At times our minds play tricks on us, especially when u want something so bad! I would suggest u use opk's to verify when u ovulate & i really dont think there is a difference between cheap & expensive test. But i use Clear Blue easy. Good Luck sweetie!

I had some very weird cycles for about a year, sometimes they would be 4-5 weeks at other times they could be 7-8 weeks with all sorts of 'pregnancy like' symptoms when infact they were pms symptoms.I wasted several HPT's. In the end I started using ovulation test strips, I bought the Internet cheapies and basically tested every day from CD 12 until I got a positive. It took about 5 months using them to finally get my BFP

Hey ladies, thought I would update you as I started this thread but it would turn out I got a BFP and after a trip to the docs today I am 9 weeks pg!
