New Born Baby's Death due to Conginetial Heart Disease!!

I got married in the yr 2005 & i had my 1st pregnancy in the year March 2006 but I had to abort in the 24th Week as it was a Down's Syndrome Baby due to Hormonal Imbalance. The reason behind it as per the Gyneo's report was my blood group and my spouse Blood group was same - O+ eve.. Then I had my Second pregnancy in the Year August 2007 and I took all the preventive measures to have a safe delivery. I had all the tests done right from the 4th week till32 weeks - Alfa-Feto Protein levels checked, u/s done every month, checked the heartbeat, growth, weight,etc... In fact we were very happy about that pregnancy. Then I had the labor pain in 32 Week and had given birth to a baby boy.  He was very active till the 1st 3 hours and started murmuring then after. Unfortunately, there was no Pediatrician available at that time in the hospital. The Gynecologist checked the Glucose levels and had taken the preventive measures to balance it. In spite of doing that, the baby was still murmuring.. not actively crying. after 1/2 hour, the doctor advised to take the infant to a pediatrician immediately. After 15 minutes, we had been there at the pediatrician's place. He took all the scans & tests that were required and later after 2 hours, he said that the baby started to sink. It started to turn blue. Now our baby is no more with us. We have asked the pediatrician, Why did this happen as it was not diagnosed in any of the tests or u/s scans done during the pregnancy. The pediatrician said that it was CONGINETAL HEART DISEASE (RHD) - the pure & impure blood was unable to divide from lungs. The baby had all the Organs perfect including HEART .

My question is why did this happen? Can't it be diagnosed during pregnancy? Is it really because of our same Blood Group? Kindly advise me.

Rosebud,  I'm very sorry for both your losses.

I really think that somehow you need to get better information about what happened in both cases before you decide how to go from here and whether to conceive again.

Down's Syndrome is a chromosomal abnormality - it isn't caused by both parents having the same blood type,  or a hormonal imbalance.  

RHD (rheumatic heart disease) is caused by a strep infection,  and it causes the normal healthy heart valves to become damaged.  It sounds like you must have had an untreated strep infection during your pregnancy.

Are you saying that your delivered a 32 week preemie in a  hospital,  and your doctor advised you to REMOVE the baby from the hospital when he was 3 hours old,  and take him off hospital grounds to a pediatrician's office?  I'm sorry,  I really don't understand that at all - is that what you're saying?  

Somehow,  Rosebud,  you and your husband need to get better answers than you're getting - the doctor's statements as you are writing them don't make any sense.
