There is a new rx diaper cream on the market for diaper rashes involving yeast infections. It is called Vusion and is avaliable only by prescription. It is not for use in babies under 4 weeks of age and can only be used for a week at a time as its effectiveness will be compromised if used longer. It is NOT a preventative, only a treament. Still practice frequent diaper changes and appropriate peri-care.
There's a new OTC diaper rash treatment called BabyPaste5.0. I've had good results with BabyPaste on bad rashes; the product's website is www.babypaste.com. It doesn't have any of the sensitizers or toxins that I've read are present in other diaper rash treatments. Hope this helps some more!
