New Pregnancy

Hi, I was in for an U/S at 4 1/2 weeks, you could see the sac but nothing inside the doctor asked me to come back next week to see if we could see a heart beat. The only thing is that every now and then i feel some cramping i was told by family that since its a 1st time pregnancy im feeling that because my utherus is adapting and changing, maybe even expandding a bit , i also have seen very light bleeding, very very light almost light pink... could this be something to worry about?

As i understand it is normal for some women to experience light spotting o f sorts... I f the pain gets worse I would have it checked out... I myself had a m/c and experienced some sharp pains. and i also felt the stretching of my uterus which feels like u are about to have a period  it was more  of a sence of pressure for that than when i experienced my m/c.

at 4 1/2 weeks you'd be lucky to see anything! We didn't see the baby for the heartbeat until 5w6d. Cramping is normal in early pregnancy and even more common if this is your first and that feeling of pressure is actually symptom of being pregnant. Bleeding can be common in pregnancy I bled for 5 weeks almost everyday... about the same amount as a regular period and bright red and my baby was okay. Spotting could be from anything really implantation, if you had sex right before you spotted. Hope this helps some
