My dd is just over 2 wks old...and spits up as well. My other dd who is now 18+mths old spit up A LOT after eating.
I am currently pumping/bottle feeding for my 2 wks old...due to swallowingPainful swallowing Swallowing difficulty issues that we are trying to work through. BUT ...i do remember with my 1st dd, i was breastfeedingBreast-feeding tips Breastfeeding Breastfeeding - resources her. She spit up SO MUCH...and ALL THE TIME...but you really don't have a good idea how much they take in. Granted, you can time them, but you don't have a consistent count.
From what I've been told...they took in too much..that's why they spit up that much.
I'm sure your baby is fine....
Like I said..my dd did the same...
Spit up is very common and the amount can be horrifying, but it's okay! You go by how much is coming out in their diapers, not by how much they're spitting up. Their tummies are SO tiny right now that she probably just takes in more than she should.
