hi all - hope you had a great weekend. i am 17 weeks with twins and have been having trouble sleeping again (i had a week or two so far that i could actually sleep :()
I didnt sleep my whole pregnancy...but i could get more comfortable w/ a pillow between my legs while lying on my side...also a body pillow is nice to put between your legs and embrace as well...careful, dh might get a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys jealous..haha...best wishes
Hello, I am 23 weeks but my restlessRestless leg syndrome nights started about 18 weeks. I am the same way I lay on my side and I get these weird pains in my belly so I switch and then after an hour or so the pain switches too. Of course when the pain starts I then have to get up to go potty. I got the maternity pillow but switching during the night with that pillow is annoying. It works GREAT for the first cycle of sleep but when you go to turn over and have to take the pillow with you - well lets just say mine is on the floor every morning. Then I get the pain in my hips just like you. Sometimes I even get cramps in my legs.
I guess this is our body's way of preparing us never to sleep again. :) Congrats.
I'm having the same problem, my hips get so sore at night! It was so painful the other night, I was actually dreaming that I fell off a cliff and was laying there with broken hips, lol. I'm 33 weeks and it just started getting really bad, the only thing I've found that helps is putting a pillow between your legs when you sleep. I have no idea why but it must take some pressure off whatever hip you're laying on and keep you comfortable longer.
Maybe try sleeping with a bunch of pillows propped behind your back if side sleeping becomes too uncomfortable. Best wishes...here's hoping there's no more sleepless nights ahead of you. :)
i think as long as i stop tossing and turning 100 times a night DH will be open to anything!
I guess this is our body's way of preparing us never to sleep again. :) Congrats.
