No image on ultrasound

I have been trying to get pregnant for 14 months. I have PCOS.  Been on Clomid for 4 months. Begged the doctor for one more month of clomid. On 9/17 started a period, took clomid days 3-7, had positive ovulation test on day 22 10/8, and positive pregnancy test on 10/22. I have not had any positive tests in the past 14 months. I took 6 tests throughout the week before I could see my physician. Went to her 5 days after missed period and upon pelvic exam she stated "whoa you look pregnant" due to the change in my  cervix. She drew blood (hcg and progesterone on a Friday). She recommended an ultrasound. Came in later that day, and the lady said she didnt see anything. Buy my LMP, I am 5w4d. By ovulation I am 4w2d. Am I jumping the gun here. I havent got my levels back yet, so until then.

i am so sorry for that, it is very hard to try and keep trying, i don't know what to expect on 4 weeks ultra sounds, i think it is very hard to see thebaby dough or any sac, i went once to a doctor and i was 10 days late, she did not want to do an u/s because it was too early to see anything, she did one and all she saw was blood, i wasn't pregnant dough, so i don't know, i just want to say sory for that, and let us hope that your HCG come positive(((((hugs)))))

My ultrasound did not see anything until I was 6 weeks pregnant.  So hang in there.

Thank you. I had so much hope until that ultrasound and then every little ounce of hope went away. I guess it is hard with the uncertainty of dates etc.

update!! I received my beta hcg levels back. Friday they were 495, and monday it jumpted to 2397. they say things are looking good and they should have listened to my dates. so today I should be 5 weeks, not 6w2d. that is why on friday at 4w3d they did not see anything on ultrasound. hopefully in the next couple of weeks we can get an ultrasound. i will update then.

My first ultrasound did not see anything either and I now have a perfect 5 month old baby girl.  I was about 5 weeks with the first ultrasound and then about 6 weeks with the 2nd and boom something showed up.  Just a little dot but a perfect little dot. It happens fast and your numbers are GREAT!

Warning - dont panic if you do not have a hb yet.  That takes even more time.  I almost fell off the table but then next ultraound boom there went the heartbeat.
