No symptoms anymore, HELP

Good morning ladies! I wanted to say to Froggies and Steph that I'm so sorry Froggie got AF and Steph you still don't have your answer! Unless I missed the post. My heart hurts for both of you~

Now I need your help. I am a little over 9 wks and up until Friday had been having very sore boobs and afternoon/evening nausea. As of Friday, they both stopped. Nothing Sat, or Sunday and really nothing today. I am scared to death. I know they could taper off, but I've never had any symptoms with any pregnancies so all this is new. Any advice, any words of wisdom???? I'm just really scared!

If no bleeding or cramping I would not freak out just yet, but i would ask for a u/s to make sure. I would actually demand one if you are very worried. Sore bbs and m/s can taper off but if you are concerned we can't make you not worry so CALL YOU DR!! Please let us know how it turns out!

call your doctor and go in to see them.  I lost all of my symtoms (symptoms) when I m/c in nov.  I had my syntoms through out all of 4 other pg.   I hope everything is okay with you.

Me too! I'm on my way to the doctor's now. I still have slightly sore boobs but little to no fatigue and the night time queeziness is gone. I'm pretty freaked out and going to ask for an u/s. I will pray for both of us that our hormones have peaked and we are just in the stage where symptoms have subsided. Good luck and keep us posted.

When I was that early on in my pregnancy, symptoms would come and go.  I had good days and I had bad days.  By the time I got closer to 11, 12, 13 weeks, I was throwing up everyday but then it subsided.  Also, my boobs never really started hurting until 10 weeks or so, so don't worry about that.  Watch, your symptoms will come back, but you won't have the exact same symptoms everyday, they will come and go.  Hopefully you will have more good days than bad.  Unless you are bleeding/cramping, I wouldn't worry about it, which is easier said than done.  Try to keep your mind off of it, and I promise you'll get your m/s back.  It's a catch 22 that m/s, you hate it when it's here but it's comforting since that usually means all is going fine hormonally, but you still want it to go away.  Good luck and HTH!

Emma, thanks. I will most definitely demand an u/s but if my GP refuses my OB wanted to send me for a "Dating" u/s because of late O anyways. Good luck to you. It's pretty scary but just keep in mind (it's what I keep telling myself that it's too early to be too alarmed since there's no cramping and/or bleeding.

Steph, when was your LMP? Get a blood test from the doc and if + that's awesome and if - then you should consider getting a Provera shot so that AF will come and you can begin TTC sooner.

I would test again this week because by now you should definitely get an accurate result. If you do get a bfn this week and if your anxious to ttc right away you should speak to your doc about provera and he would probably do a blood PG test before giving it to you. If you're cool waiting it out, than that's good too! Good luck.

ateague - is it possible that if you've reached that level that they would just stop? That's what worries me the most is that they just didn't taper off, they just stopped completely. This will kill Kennedy if something is wrong. She is so excited about this little one.

steph - i have heard of people who test - on a HPT and then positive on a blood test. Weirder things have happened. I just hope you get an answer soon!!!

Seriously, when I had my good days, I would have several days in a row of just heaven.  No m/s, no nausea, no irritability, no nothing.  It was great!  Then, my m/s would come back and all hell would break loose again for several more days.  It was like someone turned a switch on/off and that continued up until 12 weeks where I had weeks of heaven and days here and there of hell.  Almost 28 weeks pregnant now and perfectly healthy.  I'd say if you've had symptoms up to this point, your body is handling the pregnancy fine.  I'd wait a few more days, and if you still have no symptoms, call the doc and ask them just to be sure.

I have no symptoms.  Just a mettalic taste in my mouth.  That's it.  Sometimes it is funny I wish I could be nausea.  I know that sounds stupid.  With the first before the miscarrage (miscarriage) I would feel hungry and start to feel sick but this time around I eat six small meals a day so that really helps.

The joy of being Canadian is that a doctor can refuse a request at his/her discretion! So, no u/s for me because the last one was "amazing" and because of no bleeding/spotting. It's incredible that we have "free" healthcare but it sucks at moments like this because my doc feels it's a waste of the government's money to order another u/s. He says that for some women this is around the time that symptoms can begin to taper off (according to u/s report I am 9w 6d) and to come back in a week.  If I lose all soreness in my bbs than I will absolutely insist on a u/s or I'll just go to the ER where I will pretty much be assured of getting one. I'm sure yours will go great tomorrow. I'm just trying to relax and you do the same.

Oh man, don't you hate that! I'm sorry they wouldn't give you one! My Ob that I'm with has been with me through 8 surguries, 2 kids and three m/c's, so she knows when I call that something is up! I absolutely love her! I think I'm doomed.....I've been in maternity clothes for 3 weeks now and one of my good friends just came by and said, WOW, you don't look preggo today! I could have cried! She has no clue what's going on, so I know she wasn't being mean, but still........

Well, like everyone else has said, try to take it easy. My little one is measuring 10wks, but according to lmp I'm 9wks 3days. So who knows what's going on. ((((Hugs to you))))!

Emma, I'm so glad you have such an amazing OB. My OB is great too but again, we're not permitted to see our OBs until 12 weeks so it's phone calls only! Please don't be so down about your pregnancy and say that it's doomed. That's not a sign that someone didn't think you looked preggo today. If you/I lost all symptoms at 7 weeks I'd be way more worried but as so many of the other women have posted, it can be normal.  Do you mind if I ask how far along you were with you miscarriages? Did you suddenly lose your symptoms with those? I actually had all my pg symptoms when I m/c for a few weeks after my d&c as hcg was in the hundred thousands and until they dropped I was still quesy, sore bbs and fatigued.  Lots of sticky dust to you and lots of hugs back to you too!

Holy ****.. ia m freaking out.. I just went to the bathroom and i have a bit of red spotting..(sticking some TP in there)  I am freaking out here.. never spotted with either of my previous pregnancies..

When's your 1st doctor's appointment? Spotting can be so many things and very often absolutely nothing to worry about. Have you had quantitative hcg taken? If not, maybe you should and then again 48 hours later to make sure they're doubling. Lots and lots of xtra sticky baby dust to you****************

As long as it not bright red, you should be ok.  Implantation spotting can occur up to 8 weeks into your pregnancy.  Are you cramping?  If you are, call your doc ASAP.

I know you must be totally scared but try not to worry.  I didn't bleed at all with my first pg until I started to m/c at 5.5 weeks.  This pg, I started out bleeding and now everything seems to be fine.  Call your doc immediately...maybe he/she can squeeze you in today.  Just try to be positive.  My prayers are with you.

Thanks, and i don't mind you asking. First was at 16wks, second was at 9wks, and the last one was at 4wks. I never had any symptoms with any of them. The entire pregnancy was symptom free until this one. I think that's why I'm so paranoid, b/c I've never had all this to deal with. I hate that you can't see yours until 12wks. Only 3 wks away and you'll be able to hear the HB. Very cool!!!! I don't go back until the 18th for my regular appt. We should be able to hear the HB then.

staci - don't freak. It could be from anything. Keep a watch on it and if you feel it's not normal, or too much for you,  then call the Dr.!

way ahead of all of you...i am at my home computer right now.. i am going into the dr at 330.. i never bled with my pregnancies, even my m/c baby.. so i am freaking.. especially since my normal early pregnancy symptoms are MIA.

it was red (pink) blood only when i stuck some tp in there (due to heavy yellowy cm) and i did that again when i got home and there is no blood there.. so hopefully i am going to just annoy the **** outta my dr. because of my overreacting.

i am in tears..

i went to the dr. he did an internal.  He doesnt see any bleeding.  He also did a vag. ultrasound and saw no evidence of pregnancy in the uterus..  He is sending me for bloodwork tomorrow... Just to boost my confidence i went and got a hpt.  I brought it home and took it and got a BFN???

i am so confused/depressed right now...

is it possible to be that diluted from peeing so many times and drinking lots of H2O that it would come out negative???

i feel like shooting myself in the head right now..

I am so sorry.  I have been worrying about you.  Maybe you can try a hpt tomorrow morning.  I just don't think your urine is concentrated enough.  When will you get the blood test result back?  Could it be a Chemical pregnancy?  Again, I am thinking about you.  Pleae let me know what you find out from the doc.

Don't give up hope just yet. Like dolly said, it's possible that you either had a chemical PG (but you'de have more AF type bleeding or that you're urine is just so diluted that you got a BFN. Definitely test again tomorrow with FMU. I know it's really hard but try not to be down until you know forsure. We're all here to support you. Lots and lots of hugs!

It sounds to me like you need someone to talk to face to face.  I am a psychologist and From reading what you wrote it seems like you are depressed, which is totally understandable considering what you have been going through.  I hope that this does not offend, I am praying for you.

Hey honey - Not to scare you but the same thing happened to me at 12 weeks.   I thought I was just in the second trimester and feeling good but when I went for my u/s they could NOT find the heartbeat.  Call your dr right away.  If you lose all your symptoms right away it may not be a good sign.   Hope all is well with you.

I can't really remember how far along you are, but wanted to tell you that when I was 3.5 wks along, and had already tested positive and had hCG numbers done, I had bright red and some pink spotting for a few hours one day - and then it stopped and has not returned. I'm only five weeks and 2 days now, but so far, no problems I am aware of.  No bleeding with first PG, and no really early bleeding with MC, either.  I said a little prayer for you.

All miscarriages are horrible, but 16 weeks must have been beyond devastating. Did you ever find out why you m/c with any of them? I'm so glad you're in good hands. What time is your u/s tomorrow? I'm sure everything will be just fine but you'll be in my prayers anyway.

Yeah, that was bad. I had my AFP test done, and it came back abnormal. We went in thinking we were having a child with Downs or something like that,and they told us she had died. They were as shocked as we were. We did an autopsy and genetic study, but they couldn't find anything wrong with the baby. That didn't help. I think I would ahve felt better if I had known something was wrong with her than to know there was nothing. The second one was Trisomy 16. Which is not enough blood flow from me to the baby. Very rare and only a 1% chance of happening again. The third was too early, so they don't know what happened there.

My u/s is at 10 EST. Thank you all so much for your well wishes. Hopefully you and I will be sharing labor pain stories around the first of oct., and all this will be behind us. Isn't funny how you can wait to get preggo, and then you can't wait for the baby to get here b/c of all the worrying you do while they are inside!  :)

Emma, you're very strong to have suffered through those miscarriages and perservered for more kids. I know what you mean about wanting this baby to come already! I know I won't even relax after the 12 weeks because I will still fear m/c. It's weird because with DD I wasn't nervous for 1 minute the entire PG. I felt confident somehow that everything would be ok. After the m/c every pain/twinge/diminished-symptom has me totally freaked! Good luck tomorrow.

i have a genetic predisposition to depression and anxiety (and a chemical imbalance).. in situations like these i guess i go to that.. am i depressed right now? yes.. an i really going to blow my brains out?? haha.. No.. I love my life, i am just in a hard place right now.  I appreciate your suggestion. I dont trust psychologists.  I had a bad experience with one.  I would need someone who specializes in pregnancy loss or something like that.. Who knows.. everything could turn out to be just fine.  I drank so much water today that i was probably peeing water.  I mean, the pregnancy test 2 hours later didnt even look like it was peed on!!.  I am still having all of my other symptoms (minus morning sickness)  plus the Dr. says my cervix is bluish like in pregnancy.  I will go get my blood drawn tomorrow and wait for those results... In the meantime, i will worry..

thanks for your kind words.. Your friend's story is so sweet.. And very common!!!  I did an internship for an adoption agency and you wouldnt believe the families that have an adopted child and a biological child close in age!!  I think the HPT is screwing me up here.. I bet it was too diluted..

I drank 1.5 liters of water between 9am and 6pm.  I peed at

Now.. i normally only pee 3x a day and dont normally drink this much water!!  i am drinking lots of water because it is healthy.. and i want to sustain this pregnancy in any way possible.  i have heard of people having negative hpt and postive blood tests.. The weird thing is that if my period was due last week, and i got a +hpt then a -hpt today.. dont you think i would have been bleeding by now??  This TTC stuff is all so new to me.. I didnt realize it could be this complicated.  Very frustrating.  I am going to end up in a mental institution.. i swear!! (still taking tickets to hormone island) haha..
Everything else is pointing towards pregnancy..  I got a +hpt last week.. have the bad gas, bad sleep, sore boobs at night, slight nausea at times, fatigue, mood swings.. so i am PRAYING the hpt was wrong...
