Not sure whats going on!!!

Ok I have never done one of these before but need some help please....me and my husband have been ttc for about a  year already...in dec I got my period for about 5-7 days real heavy...in Jan got what I thought was my period for 3 days very light only when I would wipe...the blood was dark brown and dark red...and now again only when I wipe do I see the dark brown or red what does it mean can someone please help me.

Go ahead and take a test to rule out early pregnancy; it's possible to have some bleeding early on.  If you are not pregnant, go see your doc and tell him or her that you are having very light periods after having normal or heavy ones, and ask if your hormone levels might need to be checked.
