Hope everyone is having a good day.  I'm waiting on my hcg numbers from my blood draw this morning.  Hoping that they are still doubling!

Where were your numbers last time and how long in between tests?

I had my embryo transfer done on Oct. 16 and my first hcg level was checked on Oct. 25 which came back at 102.  It was checked again two days later on Oct. 27 and was 214.

Did they transfer just one? My friend had 2 transferred on the 11th. On the 25th her number was 230 and 48 hours later is was 580. Do you think she is having twins? Your numbers are excellent, but sound like my numbers in the beginning and I am having one.

They transfered two embryos.  All I'm asking for is one healthy baby, two would just be a bonus.

As to your friends numbers, I dont' pay to much attention to them except for the fact that they are doubling.  But your friend had hers checks on day 14 after the transfer and mine were checked on day 9 after the transfer so I don't think either hers or mine should too high.

I agree that all you need is one healthy baby. I'm so happy it worked for both of you. I know nothing about the process and was just wondering if the numbers were indicative of anything, but you are right, as long as they atleast double, it's all good. The u/s is ultimately what will tell. Here's to a happy and healthy nine months for you! Let us know what your new number is. I'm sure it will be up there :o)

any numbers yet???  I'm sure they are fine :)  and I don't think you can tell if you are having twins until like 6-8 weeks with hcg?  I looked around and the early levels with singleton and twins were so similar until the 6-8 week mark and they were off the charts!  but heck, by then you have an ultrasound to tell you :)

No numbers yet. I about to call the doctor's office if they don't call soon.  I think they keep ahold of the results and call you late in the day just to make you sweat it out!!

Well my numbers are in and they look good so far.  My hcg more than doubled to 476 today and my progesterone was 73.8.  I have another blood draw on Monday and it should be over 1000 and that will be my last one until my first u/s in mid Nov.
