been a while since i have been on, and it looks like i missed quite a bit. i have been so tired when i get home from work that i dont even turn on the computer. yesterday was my first birth prep class and now I am more nervous than ever of having this baby! I thought it was supposed to help, but now i am just a big chicken! LOL! my next and last one is next saturday which is supposed to cover mostly baby stuff. yesterday's was getting ready for labor/delivery. mamamia!
i have a baby shower next weekend too, so i will be concentrating my time toward completing a babyblanket today.
not sure if i told you all or not, but DH found a house for us to buy, we are trying to negotiate the 'move in' terms now. we want to move in now (sept 15) and close after our house here closes (which cant happen until the pool is completed). but, i have to remember not to stress out over the small stuff, that everything will work itself out. I told DH that its not worth fighting with the seller, that if they dont want to work with us, then there is something better out there and we can just rent a place till we find it. YA KNOW?!
well i hope everyone is doing well, any new BFP's out there this week?

Yeah I haven't really been on to much lately mostly just checking posts and responding as I have time, we had a bout of pneumonia sweep through my house.  My DD started with it and then somehow I ended up with it.  I thought pneumonia wasn't contagious so I really wasn't worried about catching it, but apparently the virus that caused it was contagious and sure enought I got it.  They are assuming I had pneumonia because DD had it, diagnosed by x-ray, and I had the exact same symptoms but I would not let the doc do an x-ray so she just treated it as if I had it. We are finally all better.  I am getting ready for this baby.  We moved DD out of the nursery and into a "Big Girl/Big Sister room" and that is finally finished.  I have now started getting the nursery back in shape for a newborn washing baby clothes etc..  I am starting to get pretty uncomfortable.  I have gained 21 pounds so far and am pretty pleased with that aspect.  

I did respond to you a short time ago and gave you a lot of credit for moving in the middle (or make that towards the end) of your pregnancy.  Other than the contractor issues and moving how is the actual pregnancy going?  Did you end up contacting the BBB or an attorney about the issues with the contractor? If so did that put a fire under his *ss.  You need to use those pregnancy hormones and let him have it.  

We are finally all better now so I should be online more. Keep me updated on you as well.

Shari- Oh shoot I forgot, don't let those classes scare you.  When I was pregnant with DD I took the actual Lamaze classes, 6 weeks of classes, 2 hours each class and it was very helpful, not so much the breathing but the knowledge on what to expect, scenarios, what to put up with in the hospital, etc.. Sometimes I think those short classes (or the ones the hospitals put on)are the worst because they give you the worst part of labor and not everthing before, after and in between.  However, it is good you took something but as I said above don't let them scare you.  

Christie - How is the cellulitis? A few years ago I had a bee sting on my thigh and had the same thing so I feel for you! Oh and is that shoulder any better? If not you need to consider that injection.LOL

i am so sorry to hear about the pneumonia (sp)! That just stinks to have to deal with that for you and your DD, especially when pg! Glad to hear you are both feeling better!
Yeah, it really sux to be moving right now. I tried to convince dh that i could stay here and light fires under the contractors butt while he moves and gets things ready for us, but he didnt go for it. So, we are both going together Sep 16th ish. My last day at work will be the 10th and the girls at work are doing a shower on the 8th.
As for the contractor, there just doesnt seem to be any protection for us consumers! An attourney suggested we get a papertrail started where we give him deadlines, but that isnt even full proof since its not in the contract. I emailed a local TV station yesterday and I havent received a response yet. I am hoping for something. The permits are about to expire, which means he will have to pay for new ones. So stupid! He could have just done the job, been paid and even gotten more work out of us and our neighbors/friends. Now his name is dirt all around our neighborhood and we will make sure nothing positive comes out of our mouths about him. It would be one thing, if he would just answer the phone and give REAL updates, rather than lie.
Oh well, enough of that:)
We tried going to the weekly classes, but dh is gone alot, so we had to do the cram course on the weekends. I was telling the girls at work about it and they said the same as you did. I really dont know why that have to show those kinds of stories when we are about to deliver. they should really use them in SEX ED at schools. It sure would make the girls think about it twice! LOL
