I spent yesterday scrubbing my house. DH and I went for an hour walk. Went out to dinner at The Longhorn, after I ate I got so sick. I was in so much pain I wasn't sure if it was the food or I went into labor. Figured I would go home and go to bed, if the pain got so bad it would wake me up. Well it did, I was up every 2 hrs, felt like I was going to die. I got up around 8AM, my throat hurts  I keep getting cramping way down in my tummy but my tummy doesn't seem to be getting hard. Its a weird cramping too not like a have to go to the bathroom cramp. I can't tell at this point if its the baby moving or contractions when my uterus when it gets so tight I can't walk. My head is splitting and I have a burning sensation in my belly (on top of the cramping which has since subsided).

Maybe I overdid it yesterday.

You didn't get food poisoning did you? Did hubby eat same thing as you? Someone on here the other day though posted about contractions feeling like the cramps you get with food poisoning. So you better keep an eye out.

cinnamon......yea, that's right... I forgot she post from work so maybe that is why we have not heard from her.

A bun across the room huh????  I was ROFL when I read that.  I can just see one of my kids doing that.  Did it hit anyone.  That would have been ten times greater (10 x more embarrasing for you but GREAT!!!!!)  You gotta love little kids don't ya.  My DD when she was 4 I think walked past a big burly smoker one day at Meijer while she was with my DH and said really loud "Smokers are so yucky"  My DH was so embarrased and practically ran into the store thinking he was going to get his butt kicked.  I love it.   Take care.   That was a great story.

NO THANK GOD the bun never hit anyone. I would have died. Its funny when their your kids you think everyone sees, hears, so your trying to keep them under "raps" but most people arent even paying attention.

Ususally with food poisoning you have extremely painful cramps with severe diarrhea and or vomitting.  I've worked in an ER and seen it enough times to think that if you had food poisoning you'd probably know it.  I'm hoping that it is the baby coming and not something like the flu.  Although I've heard that early labor sometimes feels like flu symptoms???  Keep us posted and let us know how you are doing!

I went back to bed and feel a little better.  I feel so blah, I can't really explain it better than that.  I'm sure I'm just coming down with something (allergies I think) on top of eating food that just didn't agree with me.  My next dr's appt is on Tues so I'm hoping for some more progress.

Hi
How are you feeling now? When my body was getting ready to go into labor with both my boys I became very ill suddenly. I would throw up and feel like ****. It would subside if it wasn't the right time then finally at one point my body was ready and I went into true labor. I was sick to my stomach all during labor. So this could be completly normal for you and body is getting ready to have that baby.
Hope eveyone else is having a good day. We are having great weather here in Rochester NY.  Maybe gonza had her baby this weekend lets hope.........

I'm also curious as to whether you are feeling better.  I'm actually hoping that maybe you are at the hospital having that little one of yours!!  If not, I truly hope you are feeling better.

Shubunkin
How are you feeling?  Any more pink stuff?  I too have a doctor's appt tomorrow.  I can't wait to ask him if I'm progressing at all.  My friend said that she had her doctor scrape her mucus membranes during her exam and she went into labor 3 days later.  I'm not exactly sure what she is talking about but I'm gonna ask about it. It kinda sounds painful but she said it didn't hurt.  She had that done at 38 weeks, but then it was 3 years ago.  I'm not even sure if they still do anything like that.

Gonza
Where are you?  We are all dying to know if you went into labor or not.  Hopefully we will hear from you soon!
