Hey girls!  I am needing to hear words of encouragement.  I called my doctor yesterday to tell him that I was pregnant, and he had me go by the lab so that we can get my HCG and Progesterone levels.  I'll probably get those results back later this afternoon.  Lab One is so slow in getting results back to the doctor.

I had a little bit of very mild cramping yesterday, that was like AF cramps but not exactly.  Of course, I just worried myself sick over it all day long.  It's not unheard of to have a little cramping early in pregnancy right?  

I wish I could just relax and not worry so much about this.  I'm like Hope, sick of being tormented and worrying constantly.  I am going to focus on trusting God and leaving it all in his hands.

I hope mild cramping is normal in early pregnancy because I have noticed it a little here lately also (I am almost 8wks).  It actually feels like the cramps you get when diarreah is going to kick in.  I know I worry sick every time I get a pain also.  Hang in there.  We are all here for each other if by some awful chance our cramps mean something more.  Let's just keep our faith that everything will be fine.

I am new to this site so I don't know very much. Can you tell me what Letrozole is and when they recommend it. I was on clomid for 3 months and am waiting to see OB/GYN again as we did not conceive. I am 42 yrs old and never been pg - ttc since 6/03.

Congrats to all you BFP's! And from what I have heard, cramping is completely normal during preg as long as it isn't debilitating. If you worry though, call your dr. Do the hcg tests. It will put your mind at ease at least until you can see/hear the heartbeat.

Off today to another dr's appt. Cross your fingers my hcg is down to 0.

Also, Jana, had one more potty idea for you. If you think it might motivate him, take your son to the store and let him pick out his own underwear. Make him wear the trainers (white with thick material in the crotch) until he is going several hours with no accidents and let the underwear he picked be his reward for being a big boy!

I don't know about the drug you mentioned, but i wanted to welcome you to the site.  I too am new to this site.  I am just 40 and ttc #1.  This is my 3rd iui with injectables and I am on cd26.  Keep posting.  I feel like the only one over forty.

Along w/ silo and blondie, we are newly pg!! I am 6wks 2 days, and to let all of you "crampers" know, I worried right along w/ you because of a m/c @ 9 wks back in Sept.  This time, still cramping, and even lower back aching like AF, but all is well.  Also, my faith has grown soooo strong in God, knowing that it's all in his hands, that we've decided to not have any hcg levels measured this time, because we literally went out-of-our-minds crazy w/ the last m/c.  1st, the numbers were great, then they were a little low, then they were back to normal, and still lost it at 9 wks.  Because of no health insurance, we have decided to have a home birth, and my new doctor agrees to no hcg testing, along with us.  He has put me on progesterone cream 2x per day to support a healthy pregnancy that may not make it due to low prog levels.  We will be praying for all of you who are pg, and ttc......hang in there!

hi everyone. Well i went to the dr yesterday and she thought i may be having an ectopic but did not want to do the surgery just in case it was in the uterus. couldnt see anything on ultrasound but i have another one on friday. I am still bleeding and yesterday i was having alot of cramping. today i do a little too i guess but i have been trying to sleep so i dont feel it. my question is that i was told to watch for signs of the ectopic, but i have never had one so i do not know the difference between that pain and m/c. i no that i would have sharp pains in one spot but would i have the cramping? they thought it was the ectopic due to my numbers rising more than they had been. they did not double butmy first test was only 298 on tues and 330 on thurs and 360 on friday and 564 on monday. i guess the dr thought i wold be going down. i ahve been bleeding for a week now and this wondering what is going on is scaring me. i dont want it to rupture if its ectopic due to me thinking its just the pain of m/c and trying t deal w/ it

Heres something I think is really funny: Dh and decided that we're going ttc this month (after getting BFN 3 times). So here I am planning how Im going to try out some of the suggestions that you girls gave me only to realize that it might not happen this month at all!! This is what happened, dh and I had an argument previous and we're communicating but it has not been resolved. At the moment I can't bring myself to bd, because Im still hurting.

Now Im in my fertile phase (Feb 1-5) and we've not bd since the beginning of the month!! Im dying to, but because of the unresolved issue, Im just not feeling comfortable. So finally I decided that it has to be resolved TODAY, because I cant afford to miss out this month!! It was suggested that we bd on alternate days, at what point would the dreaded 2ww start?

With my ectopic I was only spotting off and on at first.  Then I started cramping and bleeding off and on..but my numbers kept doubling.  I WAS cramping and i thought I was just miscarrying until it suddenly got worse and worse, then when it only started to rupture the pain was out of this world...but that was only near the very end.  I'm so sorry you are going through the waiting part.  They hadn't even THOUGHT ectopic with me until the very last day when my levels were above 10000 and all they saw inside my uterus was debris.  I have to mention that the week before that ultrasound they did see a sac in my uterus...my doc later called it a pseudosac..not sure on spelling.  Keep us posted! Yes the last post was for you.  I turned 4o in November.  I have been ttc since my husbands vas/reveral in august 02.  SInce I had 3 rounds of clomid that caused a hugh cyst that would not go away. I was operated on in June of last year. Since I had 2 failed iui with injectables and waiting to test for my third iui.  I agree these younger girls shouldn't be having all these problems.  How long have you been ttc?

I have been there too.  There were two months this past year of ttc that my husband and I had unresolved issues and they conveniently fell right in the middle of my fertile time.  I remember being so angry because we didn't bd and I was too stubborn to just give in and do it anyway.  Hopefully, you and dh can work this out......TODAY and get on with the baby making.  Tell him times-a-wastin'!

I agree with Nina about OPKs are MUCH easier to use to detect ovulation then BBT.

Charting your BBT shows you when you have already ovulated but it can also indicate pregnancy if your temp remains high for more then 18 days without a period.  Temps vary from person to person but my rule of thumb is that before ovulation your temp is under 98 degrees and after ovulation its above 98 and may get even higher if implantation occurs.  Your temp stays high after ovulation until you get your AF and If you didn't conceive then your temp drops the day of or day before AF is to come.  This may sound confusing.  Just search google for BBT charting and it'll tell you about it.  But OPKs are good and tell you before you ovulate when you are about to.

I just suggested taking waking temp now if you had one to see what you have.  Right now I'm at 16-17 DPO with NO af....hope it doesn't show up!! ;o) i'm crossing my fingers and toes!

I was talking to my DH and he said we should give it another couple of months before doing any charting, I think he's just having fun this way. My brownish spotting came back last night but only when I wipe, I wish I knew what this ment. Any Idea's?

Hey, no my appt is at 2:30 for u/s and then I'll request a pregnancy test too.  I haven't gotten AF either.  I sure do hope we BOTH conceived!  The brown spotting could VERY well be implantation spotting!! ;o)  I'll be praying for us BOTH and crossing all my limbs today! I'll find out tomorrow what the results are. Oh so nervous too!

I'm just so confused on why I haven't gotten AF yet, I mean I want to be pregnant but really haven't exp. much phy. signs (fatigue/exhaustion, breast soreness and nausea) well an upset stomach from time to time but that just may be me being nervous about wheather or not I'm preggo.

HI  CHEESETOO,. Letrozole is a pill, like chlomid its used to increase fertility and the doctor is the one who would prescribe it and its taken from the fourth day of the periods. its actually fairly new in the market and from what i have read about it shows its much better in results ,shown so far. the risk of multiple pregnancy is reduced and the pill actually doesnot stay as long as the chlomid once its work is done in the body;-)))

I haven't had any symptoms either, last night I was really neauseous but other than that nothing. I'm hoping that it's implantation bleeding, but it's weird how it goes and comes back is that normal? Oh i can't wait to know if your pg i'm so excited, I hope that i got my O date mixed up and in the next couple of days i get a BFP.

hello there, most of you know me as prego 23, we just had our little boy 9 weeks ago, he is growing like a weed, he's already 13lbs, what are the odds of getting pregnant with pre-***? dh and i fooled around last night and right before he was ready,i put a condom on him, he didn't ejaculate inside me but obviously there was pre-***, any advice anyone?

AHHH, well just got back from Clinic.  Did an u/s to chk size of my cyst.  Asked for a pregnancy test, but they only test first morning urine, gave me the container and told me to return tomorrow a.m. with urnine! This means I won't know until the following day which is THURSDAY! Which is my b-day .....
guess it would be cool to get a BFP on my b-day but then again I wouldn't want to get BFN on b-day and have it ruin my day ;o(

Oh man, I'm so stressed out right now, I'd go buy a test but I'm too AFRAID to.  I don't want BAD NEWS!

I'm just going to hold off until tomorrow and give first morning urine to my doc then wait a entire 24 HRS and call first thing thursday morning. ;o() ahhhrgghh

I've been waiting for you to get back, what did they say about your cyst? has it gone down? I haven't figured out why they make you wait 24hrs for you pg test, I get my results instantly. I think you should go buy that test, the results may surprise you.

Well, my doctor's office just called me and the nurse said my HCG was 767 and my Progesterone was 36.2!!!!!!! She said everything looks great.  I am so happy right now.  I needed some good news!  It's amazing that AF is actually due today, and my levels were already 767 yesterday!  She said I must have ovulated early for sure this month.  She wants me to come in on March 2 for my "work-up" and sonogram.  She said I'll be a little over 8 weeks then.

stephw-  I cannot believe that you have not given in and taken an hpt!  You must be the most patient person I've never met.  Well, the good thing is, is that you've saved yourself tons of money.  I'm beginning to think that the wealthiest family alive, has got to be the heirs to the person that invented the Home Pregnancy Test!  I know I've probably spent about $1,000 over the past year on them.  Let us know what happens, I'll keep praying for you.

Thanks for info on Letrozole. Did it cost more than Chlomid being new and all? Am I crazy? But being 41 and all I think having multiples would be a good way to ensure having more than one child during my lifetime!

Cmn- I didn't get any info. on my cyst.  I should get a call in couple of days from doc letting me know what's going on.  I hope its decreased in size.  That's one reason why I've refrained from testing already cuz it may be the cyst is causing problems in my cylce.  I just hate sitting around WAITING.  I need to know.  At least by Thursday I'll know if I'm preggo or not.  And hopefully by end of week or early next week, I'll know the condition of my cyst.

hey girl ... that's great news... everything is going to be great this time...you got your eyes on God and he's in control... and he wants you to have this baby as much as you do.. and some cramping is normal.. ESPECIALLY if this is when AF is normally due.... your at the begginning and things are moving around and changing to accomodate this pregnancy... i KNOW it's so hard not to worry and after so many m/c i don't think God is too up set with us when we not "full of faith" we have been burned and he is more understanding than i give HIm credit for... besides all we really need is the faith of a mustard seed and we can handle that much if we just focus...trust me .. i know it's hard not to look at the past... but God is NOT in the past.. he's in the present and the future... so figth the good fight of faith and this baby is going to be jsut fine!!! Love hope.. i 'm glad you got some good news... we all need some don't we???

I use dot test early and all that i got positive results when i was pregnant.. well this time i was like you .. i was a few days late and "felt" like I was bu tiwa so scared to test.. it was during thanksgivin and i jsut i didn't want to have to cope with BFN over the holiday... so iwas goingot wait it out... well i got to visit my old friend and seh begged... pleaded with me to test... iwas so nervous.. but seh pressured meinto going to walmart and so i gave in and i was pregnant!!! so this is me presurring you to go get a test!!!!! pleeeeeaaase..... i'm dying to know... i jsut have a feeling that you are.....i'ts only $12.00 for an answer brand test and you get 2 in the box.... pleeeeese??? okay go now and let me know... lol.. I really want to test but I am also too scared to get that BFN.  I have decided to take first morning urine tomorrow and send to me doc.  Then you get results back the next day, so I'll call first thing Thurs. morning to get the results.  Thursday is my birthday, so that'll be nice if I do get "good news", if not- then I'll try not to let it get me down and I'll be able to have a drink on my b-day.

CMN- I don't know if they automatically calculate the amount of HCG, just ask them to when you test.  I was about to ask you if you were going to take blood test if you still didn't get AF by next week, but you should test this week.

I just had the weirdest phone call, My MIL called me and we were chatting. All of a sudden we got on the topic of babies, she told me that God spoke to her last week and told her that someone in our family is going to have a baby. She hasn't been wrong yet when God talkes to her, probably sounds pretty weird but she's a very religious person. How weired is that, I'll keep my fingers crossed and keep you in my prayers.

hello everyone. well i do believe all my waiting is over as i went to the bathroom and besides all my bleeding there was alot of tissue this time. I am pretty sure i m/c. I guess i knew it was going to happen but at least it happened this way instead of being an ectopic like they thought. So now i will be getting referred to a fertility specialist and get back on the road to ttc. i now have so much more knowledge than i did before. I kept wanting to get pregnant but never seen a fertility specialist or anything. I was just doing it the old fashion way which took over 4 years. i am 29 and i have a 10 yr old and i do not want to wait another 4 years. (plus i have had 4 m/c) so thank you to everyone who has given me all their knowledge and support all this past week. it has helped me soooo much. I plan to become a regular on here as i start my road to ttc. thanks for making me feel so welcome.

Kerstyn:  I'm sorry you're going through this; but glad that you're finally able to move toward finding some answers.  Thank God it wasn't ectopic.  I know that a miscarriage is hard no matter what, but at least you're healthy and can move on and conceive again and I bet you'll have a healthy baby soon.

stephw:  You're killin' us man!  Just go get the test....it's much faster than the doctor, plus the suspense is just killing me!  No, I'm just giving you a hard time, you just do what's best for you and what makes you the most comfortable. I've got my fingers crossed.:)

Sorry AF came for a visit.  I feel like my baby vibes just aren't reaching far enough to help you and momttc out.  You mentioned earlier that you and your dh are having some issues.  I really hope you are able to resolve them soon.  Maybe you are both so stressed from ttc.  I imagine that can bring out the worst in anyone.  
I haven't been on here much lately either.  I have been so sick first with morning sickness, then a severe head cold that laid me out for a while, and I am just now getting over the stomach flu.  My doctors were worried about dehydration (I've now lost 14 pounds, and I'm almost 14 weeks).  Yesterday they listened to the heartbeat again and all is well.  Of course, now that I am starting to feel better, my daughter wakes up sick this morning.  So I haven't had much time to come on here lately.  I try to check in every once in a while to see what all the updates are.  I'll still be sending my hopes and prayers your way.

Hi girls!  I am on day 42, and think i will go to the doctor tomorrow to see what my blood has to say.  I am guessing that since i didn't ovulate my body doesn't have the necessary hormones (progesterone) present to induce the period.  My doctor said that clomid would make me regular and that i should have a period even if i don't ovulate.  So she wants me to come in to take a pregnancy test.  good grief :)  I don't even feel close to being pregnant.  And not to mention that yesterday was day 16 (latest expected period day) and got BMFN (sorry had to add that in there...offensive i know, hahaha  but it's the truth).

I posted somewhere that I had been gone on vacation..  I missed checking in.

I am glad you are doing well with the pregnancy.
This will be our third month trying then he leaves March 15th for PLDC again and Wont get to try again until After April 15th when he comes home.  I Hope this month will be it!
We always seem to have problems, if it is not one thing it is the next, we are bad luck! :/
This time My oldest's father decides after 4 years of not seeing him (christopher thinks my husband is his daddy)That he wants to try and be a daddy again, he has 2 little girls with his now fiance/wife/girlfriend...WHATEVER SHE IS...and she is trying to get him to get into christopher's life. He tries to come and go as he pleases and now he is making it hard on my dh and I.
He is calling every day as of a week ago AFTER FOUR FLIPPIN YEARS!! and demands I throw MY son in the car to see him and he wants to talk to him and my son has no clue who he is!!!!! So now this is hard on my dh BAD!!
JUST WHEN THINGS ARE LOOKING BETTER FOR US! Anyways, enough on me! I just hope this month will be better.
