OPK's when to start using?

What day do you first use OPK??  I am new to this whole ttc thing so I thought I would try it. and since I am on Clomid they reccommend this to make sure I did in fact O.  I am not good at reading my cm.  Please help.....  Also, has anyone used the "Answer" brand?  Are they all the same?

I bought some over the weekend online. I was wondering when are you suppose to start using them. I started AF on friday night. This is my first AF since my chemical pregnancy in the beg. of Mar. Well, Good luck to you....Lots of Babydust******

Hey girl!  I used the Answer Brand both time I got pregnant.  If money is not an issue, I will start testing on CD 8 to make sure.

I bought 2 packs and started to test on CD 8.  I ended up Oing on CD 17.

Yes, I tested everyday until my BBT told me I Oed.  Make sure you do it in the afternoon without peeing or drinking too much for 4 hours.  I tested when I got off work.

Hi girl. I start using OPKs about 3-4 days before expected O so I gues CD 10/11 should be good for you. $$$ factor wasn't an issue because I have always bought the .55 cent internet cheapies and typically bought 25 at a time. There are lots of great sites to purchase that can guarantee 2 day shipping and that way you can ideally test twice a day. I bought mine at accuratepregnancytests dot com (I think?!). Good luck and I'm praying clomid brings you your bfp this month!

Personally, I didn't like the internet ones that much because the test result is not as clear as the Answer Brand but I also know a lot of ladies on here who loves using the internet ones.  Maybe you can try both to see what works better.

jsut wanted to let you know that this is my 2nd round of clomid and they told be to start on day 9. I'm also getting a hcg shot this month and today I went to the Dr. and my follicles were quite big enough yet. i'm on cd11. last month on clomid i didnt O until cd 16. hope this is our month!!!!

Yeah, at least for me Answer brand is more clear.  I have a ton of the internet ones left.  They just didn't work for me.

no, I dont haveanychildren.m/c in jan. of this tear. the hcg shot will trigger O 36 hrs later, so I will know exactally when I O. I did O last month with 50mg of clomid but she is real aggressive with her treatment so she wanted to go ahead and do the hcg shot. hopefully the follicles will be ready on wed. and i will take the shot wed. night.

I am currently on my second day of clomid.  My dr. told me to start using the opk on day 10 of my cycle even though I take clomid from day 5-9.  Good Luck!

I took clomid from Day 5 through Day 9 my doctor said I should ovulate on day 14. I started using the OPK tests on Day 12 through Day 16 or day 17. Just to make sure I didn't miss anything. Good Luck.

I ovulated on day 14,15,16 and now I am waiting to see if I will get a BFP. Yes I have a ten month old. We were on clomid for 2 years and had seen lots of different doctor I finally said that was enough and stopped everything the following month I was pregnant.
