Off Topic: Mexico...

so the future hubby and I have decided we want to go to Mexico for our honeymoon... we are thinking either cancun or aculpoco.. has anyone been to either? and i can't seem to find a flight out of pa to mexico...  i found a room for 7 days and its 486 which isnt bad im just wondering what i can expect to pay for a flight

I have been to acapulco many times.. my ex is from right around there... and I wouldn't suggest you go there.. it is a really big city, dirty, and the beach isn't that great.. the sand is really grainy and actually doesn't feel good when walking bear feet...  it really isn't that nice... ixtapa is much nicer than acapulco.. never been to cancun so can't comment on that... buttttt I heard cruses to mx are going really cheap right now.. that would be a cool honeymoon and you could see more than one spot

im deathly afraid of large bodies of water.. probably cus i cant swim so a cruise is def out! but thanks for the advice on acapulco..

Girl... Acapulco is not bad, it depends to what part of it you go. I'm assuming you would stay in a nice hotel.... hotels' private beaches are really nice. Sand is different in each beach... if you go to the public, then yes it's grany and dirty... so, don't go there.

I've been to both several times... Cancun is my favorite!!! the sea is so blue and beautiful! the sand feels like baby powder! and there are almost no waves so you can play with Aub in the shore and you guys will have a blast! =)

BWI and Washington Dulles have flights to Cancun... if you want you can come down a day before and stay here with us, then drive down that day =) it's only 45 minutes from here. We have a spare bedroom and two cribs where Aub can sleep! =))

thanks vanessa..  im worried about spring breakers.. but im sure exactly when spring break is .. we would be going down may 2nd through the 9th.. and aubree isnt coming.. daddy and mommy need some alone time :) and the new little one will be here by then as well...

We went to Playa Del Carmen-  right by Cancun for our honeymoon-  we did a package deal with flight/room/etc all included-  it was great!  May you won't be hitting spring breakers-  we went ON spring break because my husband is a teacher and that is the week he had off-  but we did an adults only resort, it was a little more pricy, but it was worth it!  :)  have fun!!!
