Okay to drink while pregnant

Good Friday morning ladies,

Since we found out that we were pregnant I have stopped drinking coffee.  This is really good for me, because I drink it like it's going out of style.  So I'm really proud of myself.  Even I didn't think that was going to be possible.

However my question is:  Is it okay to drink chai Tea with soy milk?  I really like soy milk but I can not find information if that is okay to drink while you are pregnant.

You are probably fine drinking it moderately.

Soy milk is VERY GOOD for you.  Tons of protein and calcium.  I drink soy miik instead of milk myself because I can't handle Lactose.  Regarding Chai, you might want to choose the Decaf kind but you'll be ok will less than 200mg of caffeine per day.

I think that would be fine.  Soy is actually really good for you--it is protein.  I have been munching on soy chips alot lately.   They are way lower in fat than potato chips and satisfy my salt craving.

Anyway, I gave up coffee but still drink tea--half tea half milk.  You should be fine

i really only drink soy...and ummmmm... i love chai!!!!  i wouldnt drink a ton of chai...maybe once a day..
