On Birth Control pills and now missed period 2weeks

as you all know I am 5mos preg but I have a question to you ladies
this questions is for a friend of mine. I am getting worried and I thought of getting opinion from you ladies. She has been taking birthcontrol pills for two years now and have had regular periods since then .. for two years she is on the dot with her period every 28 days all the time except for now.
she missed her period for 2 weeks now and blood tests / HPT's show negative. All of them so they performed a papsmear and nw waiting for results. What could have gone wrong? How long have you ladies missed your periods when you were on pill? or know anyone with same experience.
I just hope she will be fine and get her period sooner.
