On birth control but NO period....please help!

Hello,
I have been on birth control for less than a month. I started the pills that you are on when you have your AF, but I have had no sign of AF. I only had a bloody show this morning after me and my husband had intercourse, sorry if TMI. Shouldn't I have started f I am on those pills? Sorry if i sound confusing but I am sure if you have ever been on birth control you will know what I mean. Please help if you have any ideas.

Not to worry you but....when I started the bc pills I got pregnant. My Dr. told me to wait 2 weeks before I trust them without any other form of protection and I actually waited 3, atleast until I thought I would be finished ovulating, and I ended up pregnant. I DON'T trust those pills anymore needless to say lol. On the other hand, the pill can mess with your period. I would say take a test and test in a couple more days if you still haven't started I would give your Dr. a call!! Good luck to you!

It sometimes takes about 3 days of AF pills before it comes.

Thanks to those who answered, I will test in a few days. I noticed alot of people pay attebtion to their temps rising. How does that work? I have been having a killer headache and for some odd reason decided to take my temp, it was 98.6, higher than normal. Please help if you have any insight. Thanks

My doctor told me to use back up the first month of being on the pill.  I would definately test if AF does not show up in a few days.

yeah I had been on BCP for alittle over a year, and even when i first started taking them, it would take about 3 days of taking the sugar pills before AF would show...and i agree with the above poster who said that BCP arent very reliable...ive heard of many people getting pregnant on them, especially if the dosage isnt right...i had to get a higher dosage after about 7 months because my period tried to regulate itself to one of my close friends, and being on the pill should prevent that.
