One-sided abdominal discomfort post ovulation and pre-period.

One-sided abdominal discomfort post ovulation and pre-period.

I am 33 yr old, 12 DPO and TTC.  I had a MC 2 months ago at 8 wks, then one complete cycle, and I'm about to get my period again.  I'm having dull but significant abdominal achiness on one side, almost identical to the discomfort I felt when I was pregnant the first time.  That time, the docs did U/S within first week of missed period (confirmed pregnant w/ urine and blood test.)  They found nothing wrong and assumed it was a burst ovarian cyst.  Could this be happening again?  Why do I only feel this way when I'm possibly pregnant and not every other time I ovulate?  I plan to do a hpt in a few days if my period doesn't start.

Thanks.  I will be checking with a doc eventually.  Just curious if anyone else experienced anything similar.  I haven't gotten a period yet and I got a positive on the urine pregnancy test so we'll see if it "takes."
