Waiting patiently to find out the outcomes of all your doctor appointments. Kassimom ultrasound? christina reason for back pain? and momttc lab results? Also have a question to momttc since you seem to know so much about CM or anyone elso who might know, it seems like the last couple of months I have had a significant increase in CM right before AF, like 2-3 days before, does anyone think that I might be ovulating this late in my cycle. It doesn't seem possible because the luteal phase would be to short. I have never noticed such an increase before but maybe that is because of the pill. Any ideas?
The doc called this morning and said the Ultrasound looked good. He said my uterus is "long" because I have been pregnant before and it will be longer.
He said the back pain was probably the endo and it might have grown, it tend to get worse at AND around ovulation and AF, because of prestergone (sp?) levels and such. He said because we are trying to get pg right now that he wants me to wait about a week or 2 and see if I am, If I am not he will see about running more tests and surgery to see the endo in such......He doesnt want to run to many tests or put me on anything until I know if I am pregnant or will be.
This sucks, luckily though my back pain has lightened up a bit the last 2 days. I am relived that the uterus looked good though!
Christina that is great news!!! I bet you got knocked up :) oxoxo I am jealous.... :(
I am copying and pasting what I posted below under yesterdays open forum (just so you won't read it twiceTwice-a-day if you read below).
A few minutes ago I wrote:

So far this trying for 6 months has cost me 500/bucks.
My gut is telling me to go ahead. I really think that I will be upset in March when my niece is born... I'll be wishing sooooo much that I was at least on the WAY to having another one. Also, I have noticed a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys bit of irritation from the other two girls?! Imagine that them jealous of me... hah who would have thought. But I have lost some weight, and now have the cabin to go to all summer. I can tell that they are thinking about having young babies and that their summer will be spent breastfeeding and staying in out of the heat. I don't want to put a wedge between us, and I think that is beginning to form. So if I get pregnant then we will all have young babies at Christmas time.. and continue to have things in common.
I just called a friend of mine that has a fertility monitor. I think I will use it this month and see what happens. I am guessing that she will want to increase my clomid to 100mg. I will also be scheduling appointments to go in and have ultrasounds to see the follicle sizes (if they have formed) and the thickness of my uterine lining. Once I have ovulated I will also be getting on progesterone, to MAKE SURE I don't miscarry. It's better to be safe then sorry. I only have 2 months to make this happen, so we'll be pulling out all the stops.
I think this is the right decision. If I don't get pregnant by mid march that will give me 4 months off and we can start up again in July. I will really be heartbroken if I am not pregnant by October. I reallllly want my kids to be no more than 2 years apart :(
Keep me in your prayers. I feel like we are all in this together!! I am glad I have you cheering me on, hahah
Yeah, I have increased mucus right before AF also. I thought last month that maybe it meant that I was pregnant. I remember with my son that the discharge had increased significantly? But since I am not ovulating I don't know what it means. who knows. sorry :) momttc
Are you on 2ww? I think my Af is getting ready to start.. my nipples have been hurting and my back is killing me. I was hoping it meant i was pregnant...BUT OH NO THAT WOULD BE TOO EASY!!!!!! damn ovaries... i might as well have a penis. my body operates like mans anyway. Hell when I was pregnant my body probably just thought i had a beer belly... stupid lack of estrogen, non ovulatin', bumb ovary, crappy body.
You are not a MAN...LMAO, funny statement though!!
I should have asked if the uterine lining looked good, they can see that in ultrasound??
I feel like I might start too, I am a little bloated and crampy really low, and I couldnt button my pants yesterday. I am starting to get moody again and I beleive I might start early this month since last month was so long.
I dunno, I mean It feels a little crampy but it seems to also feel gassy and bloated.
Maybe you ovulated later than you thought??
Are they going to up your dose? Will you still try again?
I am so sorry things didnt turn out for you.I hope that if you keep trying things will turn out better next time:)I will keep you in my prayers.GOODLUCK with whatever you decide to do.

I don't think we have heard anything from you lately. Is everything ok? You have always helped me when I have a question or concern and I appreciate it. :~)
Thats great news!! Im so glad that everything was OK:) You never know this could be your big month:) I hope you get a BFP this time.I will be praying for you, And i will keep my fingers crossed! GOODLUCK!!!!!!

I have been pregnant 4 times and I keep forgeting!
Has anyone experienced being slightly bloated and/or a little gassy crampy really low and still be pregnant?
I think I did but I cannot remember.
I am not due for another week or 2, but I also have irregular cycles and since my d&c at the end of October they have been whack!!! I mean the first was light and lasted 2 days and the 2nd was HEAVY and took a 42 day cycle to get.
Just trying to remember if many people get those bloating symptoms still, I can NEVER remember!
And I am wondering if since the last was so long if it will start earlier this month.
I was also thinking (and hoping) that the increase meant I was pregnant also but nope. Well AF is over so begins a new cycle of trying. How do you go about getting a fertility monitor? Does the doctor have to prescribe it? I have never heard of a fertility monitor how does it work? I am going to try the OPK this month and see if that brings any luck. I know you said you could never tell with the kits. What is the difference between the fertility monitor and the ovulation kits?
I did not want my kids to be more than 3 years apart and because I got pregnant so easily the first time I thought I would just go off the pill, have one cycle and get pregnant again. Didn't work out quite that easily this time so as it looks right now they are going to be just shy of 4 years apart. She will be 3 in April. So even if this is my month I would be due in November and she would be almost 4. Oh Well.
Yeah, we'll see what happens. If I still don't ovulate this month on 100, I am going to have them jump me to 200mg in march for my last try :(
I am not looking forward to taking double the clomid... it makes me very moody, major hot flashes and dizzy. Poor DH ;(
Red rover red rover, send me an egg right over!!!! but I have a few weeks. Have to start AF first... red rover, red rover send that ***** AF right over. hahah
stupid body...can't do anything on it's own. see another sign it's a mans body with a girl face and boobs.
:) I gotta get some work done. I'll tell you what the doctor says tomorrow about their "plan". And then I will tell them MY plan :)
Oh Christina, BD means baby dancing. silly girl. Oh, and you get bloated when you are ovulating. You won't see AF for a while... hopefully 9 months!!!
I figured out why I love this forum, momttc and christina keep me laughing all day with how they say things!!! I am sorry momttc had bad news ((hug)). Congrats christina on her good news.....Now if kassimom would pop in we would know if there is more good news......Well I am pooped out, so I am off to beg my son to nap at the same time as his sister! Jana
Things are not looking good. The dr did the trans vaginal ultrasound and couldn't even find a gestational sac. All that was in my uterine cavity that could be seen was thick endometrium lining. There was nothing in my left ovary or tube to indicate tubal pregnancy, but he said my right ovary was really high up and while he couldn't see anything, he didn't want to rule it out yet either. We did another blood test (and this time my blood started clotting while the needle was still in me and they could barely get any out which hurt like crazy! What was that about?) and I should get the results from that tomorrow morning. If the numbers are hovering or barely rising we are looking at a possible tubal pregnancy and we are going to the hospital for better u/s scan. If they have risen significantly, we go to the hosp for u/s to find where this baby is hiding. If they have decreased, then we all know what happens...I stop progesterone treatments and wait to lose my baby. Please, just think of me, and pray that those levels have risen.
Just wondering if anyone has had this procedure done and then given birth (vaginally). I had it done about three years ago. My Dr. said that complications are rare, the only concern is scar tissue which may hinder dilation. So, he gave me the option of being induced a week before my due date. Thanks for any info!!

Well, its a start for good news...now if I could get a positive pee stick it will be all good!!!!
Anyone want to airmail me a test for free?? LoL. I am to lazy to order one or go into the store or docs office..:) when that time comes.....:::sigh::: but will it??

I am soo sorry!! I hope they figure out what is going on! SO, they saw no sac at all? did they see the uterus? I hope everything works out!
((hug)) Sorry things arent looking up right now. Hang in there and keep checking, they will figure something out, until then you have us to lean on :) Jana

I have taken care of a lot of gals who have had leeps and colpos. Your doctor is exactly right; it can hinder dilatation. I dont' think that inducing you early will necessarily change that fact, because the cervix still has to dilate, just the same as if you wait to go into labor.
But your doctor knows you and your body and baby WAY better than I do, so you should listen carefully and make your decision between you, your husband, and your doctor.
Most ladies who have leeps do just fine. It may take longer.
Kassimom-
I am so sorry it is all going this way. I will hope and pray that everything turns out well. Good luck!
Thanks for thinking of me. I've been reading all the posts lately but haven't responded too much. I'm feeling sort of frustrated because I'm on day 41 of my cycle and still no AF and I've had several negative HPT's. I know I said before I should go to the doctor and get a blood test, but I'm actually a little embarrassed to go. After my miscarriage in November she said, "I don't want you to get pregnant for 3 months." So I was on the pill the first month after, and of course got a period during the placebo week. Then I decided not to take the pill for the entire 3 months, because I just wanted to let my body be natural. We used condoms a couple time for birth control and also the pull out method a couple times (I know that doesn't work too well, but I didn't feel like I was ovulating). I've had just that one period which started Dec 10th. Sorry if this is confusing. Basically I took the pill for one month, got a period, quit the pill and now I'm still waiting for another period. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms, other than the late period. I think my body may be really messed up from the miscarriage then starting and stopping the pill. Last time when I was pregnant, it was the first month off the pill and it took until about 7-8 weeks until I got a positive hpt. I wish I would either get a ppt or have AF come. I feel so in limbo. I don't know why I keep putting off calling the doctor. Maybe I don't want to find out for sure that I'm not pregnant. I kind of like thinking that I might be. Any advice for me? I'm afraid of May coming and not being pregnant again. I was supposed to have a baby this May. Thanks again for thinking of me. Kristen
I forgot in addition to the missed period, the only other pregnancy symptom I have is some cramping like I'm going to get my period, but I don't. I think this is totally normal for pregnant people, I'm not sure what it means if I'm not pregnant.
Sorry I have no advice. All I can say is that you are not alone. I am in the same boat. Only I am thinking about August instead of May. We still have time. It will happen, we just have to be patient. Which I am not, in the slightest bit. Good luck to you. It is good to have people to relate to! Keep me posted.
Hey...just wanted to let u know i had a LEEP in 96 and delivered naturally and vaginally in 01. Also had a colpo and everything was fine...just to encourage you!
Just wanted to let u know i'm thinking of u. i went through the same wait game as you in August last year. Mine WAS an ectopic and it took a while to figure it out cause my numbers kept rising and they kept looking on u/s then finally my doc thought she saw something in my left tube..that was when my numbers were over 10000. She sent me to the hospital to the big ultrasound and at that point it was rupturing. Anyhow, I do know your frustration, fear and what you are feeling like. My thoughts are with you!
Well, we just got back from getting a fetal echo done (they wanted to see if this little guy has VSD like our 2 year old) and while they weren't able to tell us about a VSD for sure, they did say they noticed a parenchymal echo abnormality. Try as I may, I am having a hard time finding much information on it at this time. The good news is his circulatory system changes after I have him, so it may go away. I am not sure whether they will want to do another echo before I have him (he was not very cooperative for this one!!) or if we will just wait until after he is born to get a better idea.
Other than that, all is well. I am not gaining much weight (since getting pg I have gained less than 10lbs total and I am now 23 weeks) but that just means less to lose after having him. He is growing right on target, must just be me shifting weight from my tushie to him, lol.
I had scar tissue from a similar procedure. I had preterm labor for 3 months and my scar tissue is what saved my baby from being very premature. My doctor told me that once the scar tissue broke, I would dilate very fast...and boy was he right! Luckily I made it past my due date so no premature baby. If I hadn't had premature labor it would have taken me a long time to dilate. However, my doctor told me he would not induce me early because most inductions of first babies end in C-section. So you are probably looking at a long labor (which isn't as bad with an epidural) or a C-section if you don't dilate. Either way, I don't think inducing would help. Like Christie said, you still have to dilate either way. And from what I understand, many bodies don't respond to induction as well as natural labor, especially for a first baby (I don't know if you have had other children).
Yesterday, I posted about falling down the stairs...under the open forum. I am a little over 11 weeks. Anyway, the dr. said not to worry unless I saw spotting or bleeding. I'm wondering, would I see the spotting or bleeding by now if any harm was done to the baby? I'm really bruised and sore. I think my tailbone is bruised and my hip is twisted somehow (out of joint or something). It hurts to walk, but I'm OK....just worried about the baby. Today, I have had no nausea (for the first time in 6 weeks), so that scares me too. Anyway, nobody responded, so I was hoping you might be able to help. Thanks!
Thanks to everyone, I don't know what I would do without this forum. My best friend is great but she is a hopeless optimisitc, not to mention it is tough to talk to her. She is one who can get preg using the same soap as her partner and eat fast food the entire pregnancy (I swear the baby was floating in Coca Cola, not amniotic fluid!) and still deliver a healthy baby. It is nice to have a forum where I can vent to women who can relate to me and waht I am going through.

I was walking through a baby resale shop today and saw a crib I liked and for some reason I just started bawling when I walked up to it. I knew it was dangerous to go in there! Then I get home only to find that a stroller I bid on ealier in the week, I won. I hope that's a good sign. (Okay all you superstitious (sp?) ones, yes, I realize I SHOULD not buy for baby before my second trimester, believe me I am learning that now.)
Thanks Guys!! I have pretty much decided to let nature take it's course. I do have one other child, she is eight, so I had the colposcopy and leep done after she was born. It was about 3 years ago. I really want to avoid a c-section if I can! You guys are all so wonderful!! Thank You! Good Luck to you all!

Msklar, so are you still hanging in there? I went to the doctor today, but I'm making no progress.
I just read your post, kck, about your doctor not wanting to induce because of the risk of a C-section which is something I'm very concerned about. My doctors want to induce me before my due date because I have gestational diabetes. I had an appointment today, and I am not at all dialated. I have to go back on Friday for them to see how I progress. She said that will determine how they induce me.
Will a couple of days make that much of a difference? If I am not dialated at all, should I ask them to let me wait? These are all questions I plan to discuss with the doctor on Friday, but any thoughts/sharing of personal experiences will be appreciated!
kck, I also read about your fall. That is very frightening! I took a bit of a spill on Saturday at 38 weeks which really scared me, but I didn't get hurt. If your doctor is not concerned, I think you're ok. The baby is really protected in there. I know a few people who fell in their first or second trimester and were fine. I never saw bruising like my sister in law's when she fell at the beginning of her 2nd trimester. She insisted on an ultrasound, and the baby was completely unaffected. I would be grateful for the lack of nausea. Keep us posted, but it sounds ok.
I'm sure I'm OK too. I just can't help but worry after losing one.
I think if your doctor wants to induce because of gestational diabetes, then maybe it is a good idea. I know that can cause other delivery problems especially if the baby is big. Can they tell you how big the baby is? If it isn't really big and you are not having any problems because of the diabetes, then maybe it wouldn't hurt to wait. But the risk of C-section is not as big a deal as other risks that come from gestational diabetes. Also, a couple of days can make a huge difference. In fact, I have a friend who went to the dr. one morning at 37 weeks and was not at all dilated. She went into labor that afternoon adn had the baby that night. There is no telling what hours or days can do to progress labor. But my doctor did say that if you are not dilated at all, inducing can take a LONG time. He didn't even want to induce me when I was dilated to 3 or 4 (I was 5cm. when I actually went into real labor).
I loved my c-section!!! No pushing, no hemeroids (sp?), no espisiotomy :) I had complications (cord was looped twice around his neck) so it was an emergency c-section.
The induced me (this was too my first baby) at 8am. At noon i still hadn't dialated or had any contractions, really. So she broke my water at noon and HOLY HELL the contractions started 1 minute long and a min apart. I was not ready for them to start so hard??? by 2pm I was only dialated to 5 and the baby was having horrible problems, so the nurses were flipping me from side to side... and keep in mind no epidural. By 3 baby was still having trouble so my nurse started trying to convince me to get an epidural. she said it may calm the baby down? if not I was going to have to have a c-section. So i told her to check me again, and if i wasn't to at least 7, she could give it to me.... and i was still only 5. So they came in with the ep and it didn't work. the second one only worked on half of my body.. so the third one was the winner!! OH MAN how easy is child birth with and epidural!!!! Baby was still having trouble so by 4:30 my dr showed up and asked me if i was ready to meet my little man :) I just started bawling i was soooooooo excited!! Just shorltly after i was under the knife and out came my little boy.
Healing wasn't too bad, they give you great drugs for that!!
I am glad that now with any babies I have, I just get to go in a schedule my c-section :) IF I COULD JUST GET PREGNANT!! hhahaha
LOL, not all women get roids after having kiddos, I had 2 and no roids, knock on wood lol...I pushed my a$$ off too. I have heard horrible things about them and I dont wish them on anyone! Jana

I am glad that now with any babies I have, I just get to go in a schedule my c-section :) IF I COULD JUST GET PREGNANT!! hhahaha
