$$$$****Open Forum Saturday****$$$$

Good Morning Everyone! I put dollar signs in todays open forum because I don't know about everyone else, but I need to do some Christmas shopping!!

Does anyone have any advice on how to relieve my sore hips when I'm sleeping on my side? I wake up and can't fall back asleep because my hips ache so much. I sleep with a pillow between my legs, but it seems to be more a problem with my hip bones having pressure from me laying on them, rather than an alignment issue. Do you think some type of foam pad would work? It's going to be a long 4 months if I don't think of something!!

Good morning everyone!  Not many people here today! Guess everyone is out shopping!  I have two Christmas parties to sing at and some shopping to do myself!  It's 9dpo for me!  My temp. went down .3 degrees yesterday but it's back up .5 degrees today!  I'm over my coverline a full degree and one tenth!  I woke up at 5:00 this morning with what felt like mild to moderate menstrual cramps, but no spotting.  Could it be implantation?  What do you all think?  I am so excited!  I want to test so bad tomorrow, but I should probably wait a few days.  Anyway.. you all have a wonderful day!

hey i have to go shopping today too!

and i had the same problem with hip pain at night.....i try to lean more toward my tummy and put my "kickstand" out...(the leg closest to the bed is straightend and the top leg is pulled up and bent..kind of like youare trying to climb stairs in your sleep.  that worked well for me...and i found that the bigger my belly got the less hip pain i had laying strictly in my side in fetal position....so with that hindsight knowledge, maybe also try a small thin pillow under your tummy area.

good luck i know it is important to get good sleep.....other wise it seems like the hormonal thing is worse :)

Kristen, with both of my boys, both while pg and even still I slept with 2 body pillows. I placed one between my knees and under my belly and another right along my back. It was a lifesaver. Actually, I take that back, after about my 5th month with my first, i moved to a recliner because nothing helped with the crappy bed we used to have : ) But with Tristan I slept that way and still do. I sleep on my right side, snuggling a body pillow as he sleeps to the left of me, gives me some balance at night.

Thank you for your advice! I put a body pillow on my Christmas list so hopefully Santa will bring me one. I've tried leaning a little more towards my tummy to get off my hip, but if feels like I'm laying on a small hard ball. Maybe when my tummy get's it will be more like leaning on a very large ball and be more comfortable. Nanakay, it's good to know that the pain got better for you as time went on, I hope that happens for me too.

Happy Shopping Everyone!! We have to be protective of our big bellies in those crouded stores!! It's a zoo out there!
