TGIF is right, I have been seriously nesting this week and boy do I feel it today. I am shot. My mind wants to keep cleaning but my body is saying no-way. This all started last friday when I moved all the furniture in the house to clean and dust underneath. I have absolutely no laundry I found myself chasing my kids and husband lastnight for there diry cloths so I would have a load of wash to do. My big job of the week was our basement it was a mess. I have been on my dh case about cleaning it up but I decided to do it myself when he saw it lastnight he was glad I had done it (got him off the hook). I informed him that if he messed the workshop up that he would find himself sleeping in his truck or worse back at his parents house. He just laughed, he thinks I am joking well we will see ( I am actually joking but it is fun to make him think there is a small chance I am not.) Well I should go ds is getting hungry for lunch I will check with all of you later.

Well, what a **** day for me. Yesterday on my way home a semi truck pulling a flatbed tried to make a turn behind my car and ripped off the back end of my new (used, but new to me) Subaru!! I got an estimate and its going to be at least $3000 to fix, plus my car rental for that time. I wasn't hurt, since there was no speed involved, but I was upset that my new car was hurt. I dind't freak out or anything, but the situation is just stressful in general. After I got home, I was sitting on the couch, and my whole tummy just ached and felt tight. It was horrible. I kept telling myself 'relax...breathe'. It took about 20 mins for me to feel 'normalNormal saline flush' again. Then today I was driving my rental vehicle, and my lower abdomen ACHED brutally, like crampy, where you want to just roll into a little ball. And that lasted for a few minutes, which was horrible to go through while driving. I haven't had any awful pains since then though. I think it's all from stress, but I'm not sure if I need to be concerned any further. My poor car!!
Cajun, so sorry to hear about your car, just glad you are alright. The car can be fixed!!!! Try not to stress too much!!
Nanci, usually I wait until he goes into a full blown crying/scream. Not that that usually takes long. Sometimes he starts with a scream that makes me "jump" out of a dead sleep.
Wednesday night he went to bed at 10pm and slept until 6am....nursed for a few minutes and then back down until 7am but that only happens about once a month.
I have dh and ds that both have to get up in the mornings for work and school so crying it out has not been an option for us as it would keep them awake. (not saying that you let yours cry it out, I know you did not say that, I was just speaking in general)
I just hope he learns to sleep before the new baby gets here.
HHMMM....
my friend has a foster son that does that....not as many times a night, but he does get up at least once a night. he just turned 1. she thinks it is more of a habit for him now than anything but the babd part is that you can't explain to an 11 month old that they need to stop waking up and stay asleep all night.
woosh....i feel for ya sweetie.
OK- i broke my finger nail on my middle finger, way down to the quick and now it is driving me crazy...it is hard to type. it's like that finger doesn't want to hit the keys.

cinn.......not at all....I knew what you meant!!!!! It's all good!!! :) I do try to nap during the day if and when he naps but if I have some place to go that day I have to use his nap time to shower.........LOL. Maybe someday I'll get to sleep again!!!!!!
Nanci......I have long nails and when I break one I end up cutting ALL of them to make them even or I have an awful time doing anything at all, typing is the worse though.
