Ovulation Concerns

Hi There,

I was wondering if there's a possibility that one with a regular cycle is not ovualting? What would be the latest one can ovulate?

You can have regular cycles and not be ovulating.

To answer your other question you can ovulate any time.   I ovulated on CD81 and conceived that cycle (my current cycle -- I'm 25weeks3days pregnant).  Do you want to ovulate that late?  No, of course not.  But you can indeed conceive when you ovulate late.  I've read all the things about ovulation not being as strong if you ovulate late, and honestly I don't really think it is a proven thing.  Everyone has their own theory.  I've known plenty of women who always ovulate late and never have problems getting pregnant, unfortunately I am not one of them as it took us six years to conceive, but still it is entirely possible.

If you aren't charting you should be.  And you can use OPKs to help determine when and if you are ovulating.  You can do that for a couple of cycles and if you never get a positive OPK then I'd make an appointment with your doctor.
