Ovulation Microscope

Ovulation Microscope

I have been using the ovulation microscope to track my most fertile days.

I previously posted that I have been having symptoms that could possibly be prego related.  You see I am now 12 to 13dpo and believe it's too early to take a hpt.  I will be taking a hpt on either Firday or Saturday morning.  However, 2dpo I started having these horrible BBs pain and last week I was getting these weird pulling sensations in my right side.  I also have been having AF bloating for over a week.  This is not common for me.  Maybe a day or two in advance, but never more than a week.

I read the instructions before using the Fertile-Focus (Ovulation Tracker using saliva) and I have been getting more than the recommended one day of "ferning" (most fertile day).  So I decided to contact the manufacturer by email and asked them if they have ever had cases where women have seen more than one day of ferning?  There reply was yes if a woman is prego she should see a persistant ferning pattern.  I told them that I was seeing more than one day of ferning this month but that it was not persistant (showing daily).  So I wake up to my usual routine and again today I see the ferning pattern, definitely ferning and not transitional...  I'm just a little confused?  Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

Any replies would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you all for reading my post and offering any advise.  Baby Dust to all!

I'm sorry, I don't really have an answer.  I just wanted you to know that I did read your question.

I don't think these microscopes are very accurate though, and you might have much better luck with charting your BBT instead.

Good luck and baby dust!!!

I used ovulation mircoscope for 2 months before getting preggers and I always had more than 1 day of ferning, I would usually have 2 transisional days 2 or3 fern days and then 2 more trasisional days.  But it must work because I a preggers now!

Hello again

I am trying more than one method...  I am also using the urine strips from "Answer".  I did see the transitional before the actual ferning day however it's been 13dpo and again today the ferning is showing...?  I also had ferning on the 17, 20, 21, 22 and 25.

Just wondering if this ever happened to anyone else?

Baby dust to all, hope this is my month for BFP!

Both times I was pg my first symptoms was ferning on my saliva scope.  So 100% yes it is very possible.  In fact I use that test first to determine whether I should go spend $$ on a hpt.  Everytime it is right.  Good Luck.

I started using the microscope because I never knew if or when I o'd due to my extremely irregular cycles. I finally got the ferning after almost two months of use. I've had the ferning for three days now but it's getting noticably back into the 'transitional' stage. I'm just excited to know I'm actually ovulating. The ovulation microscope has given me my hope back. If I don't conceive this time I'm sure there will be a next time. I'm just glad to have a tool that shows me I'm ovulating. Hopefully you're pg. Keep us posted. I would like to know if the continued ferning means you get your BFP. Good luck!

Hello

You said that you saw the ferning pattern when you were pregnant, did you see it everyday?

I'm not seeing it everyday but I have seen it more than one this month.

I HAVE THE SAME THING!! I'm going crazy! I've had pretty heavy (maybe not the most ever), but pretty heavy ferning almost everyday for over a week now (after my ovulation)... my period is now 3 days late, but all my preg tests say negative!! I'm just going to keep testing until I either do get my period or get a positive! It's nice to know I'm not the only one with the constant ferns!

That thing is a rip off.  I bought it and always had ferning.  I used all of one time.  Stick with the ovulation predictor kits if you are going to be using something like that.  They are more accurate.  I wound up getting pregnant when I decided that I wasn't going to do anything anymore.
