Could be pregnant.  Sometimes you'll get a positive OPK when your pregnant although it seems a little early.  It could also be your body trying to surge and then not quite making it and then surging again.  Do you do BBT?  Did you get a sustained temp shift after your first + OPK?  Fertility Friend does a great job of helping you chart.

Surge???? As in my body trying to ovulate? but not quite making it?? I'm really new to all this ttc all the miscarriages I had where when I was too young and didnt know better and wasnt trying.....BBT? checking my temps? No I haven't started doing that yet since this is really my first month ttc I was just going to do the lil things to see how far I got naturally I guess my real issues are miscarriages and a blood disorder that is supposedly the cause of them...so I have been on my baby asprin since ttc.....I had my mirena removed Feb25th or 26th we started ttc Feb 27th then Feb 28th I started my period so nothing till the 6th we started ttc again and have pretty much bd'ed every night since! If it is my body tryin to surge that could be a bad thing ????????

I agree with PP.  The ovulation test strips ONLY tell you if you body is ATTEMPTING to ovulate.  Only BBT will tell you IF you ovulated.  My guess is that your body attempted to ovulate around the 11th, it didn't, and now it is attempting to ovulate again.  Also, if you check your cervical position you will know if you are about to ovulate.  GL!

Cervical position? How do you do that??? I had CM on the 11th and the 12th and even the 13th then nothing since.......isn't the CM a sign that I was ovulating? or you think my body was just trying? my stomach still feels really tight its very weird

Surging is not a bad thing!  It means that the hormones that cause you to ovulate (LH levels) are surging in an attempt to release an egg.

I agree that Fertility Friend will be the most helpful if you attempt to chart your temps (BBT means Basal Body Temperature) - so taking your temp every morning.  You need a special thermometer for that.

I think that the ovulation strips in addition to BBT is the trick to knowing your body and when/if you truly ovulate on your own.

If you just got the Mirena removed - if I know correctly (and I have the copper IUD, so no hormones), you may need a month or more before your body regulates itself.  Then again, you may be one of the lucky ones that doesn't need time to regulate.

I was thinking I might need some time but I wasnt sure since I had a few regular periods before it was removed....I'm a lil worried I started ttc too soon and my body isnt going to be ready for a healthy pregnancy as far as my lining being too thin....3 miscarriages have caused me to be really paranoid but we wanted this so bad I just figured it wouldnt hurt to try and just see what happens and start charting. I guess I will have to start checking my BBT and wait it out till I can test my HCG levels. I have to see my Dr. again today for another russell vipor venom test (blood clotting test) I wanted to ask her to check my HCG levels but I feel stupid asking since its so early and my period isn't even due till the 28th lol

Checking your cervical position - basically you check it everyday, same time, same position.  I checked mine in the morning while sitting on the toilet.  Trying not to be TMI here, but basically I sat on the toilet and used my middle finger to feel for my cervix.

Cycle days 1-10: usually your cervix is low and feels like the tip of your nose
Cycle days 11-15: usually by now your cervix is starting to move upwards and will start to feel soft, when it feels like your lips pursed together you are starting to get ready to ovulate - the higher up it is and harder to reach, also means close to ovulating.
Cycle days 16-28: cervix should start to come down again and get hard, like touching the tip of your nose.

Obviously the cycle days are just an estimate, but hopefully you get the idea.  As for CM, I never got any and still got pregnant!  Also, from what I have read - when you have the egg white CM, you will USUALLY ovulate about 36 hours later.

Sorry to hear about the miscarriages.  I can only imagine that it makes it that more tough and anxious to just want a healthy pregnancy.  I wouldn't worry about ttc too soon after having the Mirena removed.  That wouldn't affect a healthy vs. unhealthy pregnancy.  But I can't speak for the lining issues.  Hopefully your Dr. can shed some light on that.  Good luck and stay positive.  It took us a long time to get pregnant and I thought I would go crazy, but it happened (with a little help).

Ok so I was reading more about this on babymed.com and that Dr.Amos or whatever his name is says that there are a few reasons that could be reason to a positive OPK for more than 3 days such as: ovarian failure!!!!!!!!! WTH?????? Now I am really worried, does anyone know anything about the accuracy of that site or his comments?????? Or the likeliness of that being the reason??????

I would HIGHLY doubt that is the reason.  LOTS and lots of women have positive OPK's two different times in a month.  I REALLY think you need to chalk it up to the hormones trying to regulate themselves in your body from just having a hormone IUD removed.  Give it time, as hard as that might be!

Sounds like good advice! :-) I'll try ....
