Ovulation Tests and Pregnancy???

Hello everyone; I'm currently using the ClearBlue Ovulation tests and so far I haven't gotten a positive result for ovulation; I should be ovulating tomorrow or boxing day.  My question is kinda long...

I took an HPT on Dec 8th, I didn't get any kind of result there was no line in the control window at all!! I obviously did something wrong.  I started bleeding on Dec 12th, I thought this might be my A/F but it didn't last much more than a day.  I have quite a few symptoms of being pregnant, but haven't taken another HPT yet.  If I were actually pregnant how would this affect the ovulation kit.  Would I get negative results for ovulation or would I get positive ones?? I tried looking on the website, but ClearBlue doesn't have anything about this... they say pregnancy would affect the results but didn't say "HOW".  Please help!!!

If you are pg, then you would not ovulate. It would be negative for ovulation kit. Best wishes to you.

THANK YOU!!! That's what I was thinking, but I just wanted someone to confirm it; looks like I'll be taking an HPT soon.... fingers crossed!!

I had that problem.  The one time I tried to use the OPK I kept testing and testing and it never showed positive for ovulation.  A few weeks later I took an HPT and it was positive.  Guess that explained why I didn't ovulate :)
