Ovulation

Hi ladies. I am currently taking 100 mg of clomid. I was wondering if there was anything that I could take over the counter that helps with ovulation. If my IUI doesn't work this month, then we are moving on to other options. We may just take some time off, but with not dr thinking that I do not ovulate, I was just wondering if there was something that I could take besides the clomid.

Hey girl... I was also on clomid for 6 long cycles!!!  anyway, I used the hCG "trigger" shot in order to induce ovulation...maybe you are already doing this, but it may be something you can mention to your Dr.  Do you know what your options may be after the clomid???  Not sure if you have already read previous posts but I will be starting Femara "Letrozole" which they may use for you...they have just started using it to treat infertility/... but it is known as a drusg used for breast cancer... (don't let this scare you!!!)...anyway... Have you been using the OPK in order to know when you O??? and then go to do IUI???  I did that for 4 cycles and then moved to the trigger shot (which I gave to myself) - it doesn't hurt at all!!!  Hope this helps you!!! Thanks!  I was on clomid aug 05-nov 05. Was off in December and had the dye put through my tubes to see if there was any blockage. Came back good. DH has had a sperm analysis, everything there is good. I've had all kinds of test done, all come back good.  Then I was put back on clomid jan 06-march06. My dr finally sent me to a fertility dr. I started may of this year on 100 mg of clomid with an IUI.Had blood work to confirm ovulation and I did. In June I did another 100 mg of clomid with another IUI. Again the blood work came back that I did ovulate. We took July off because it was really hectic for us. So this month I did 100 mg of clomid and now I'm just waiting to get that dark line on my OPK. I am also BBT'ing. I should be having my IUI either Sunday or the beginning of next week.  I don't know what the dr will suggest doing if the IUI's don't work.  My girlfriend went to the same dr and they had her do the shots.  Well it over stimulated her ovary and it got to the size of a small nerf football and she had to have emergency surgery to have her one ovary removed.  That was before Christmas and now she is pregnant, due in January. So after her story, I'm a little nervous about the shots.  So we'll have to just wait and see what happens.  Thank you again and I wish the best for you.

my first pregnancy was thru clomid,  but turned out to be ectopic and my tube had to be removed. I have had 2 IUI this year, used clomid and ovedrill. I did ovulate well but for some reason did not get pregnant. We have not done IUI for the lst 3 months because of several family things and timing problems. anyway hoping to start again in October. My dr told me that I have good eggs forming and my husbands counts are very good. I have heard good things about clomid fromeveryone in this forum. Just hope that things will work for me one day too. I want you guys to help me with this problem of mine,with those guys that knew about my case, I have gotten the name of the problem, it POLYCYSTIC (OVARIAN SYNDROME) how can you be of help? how do i solve this problem? Clomid is better than anything you'll find over the counter, though there isn't really aything else.  I mean, there are natural herbs that you can use.  But since you are already seeking fertility treatment I would continue on that path.  You can do the HCG shot.  And then the injectibles (spelling?).  It gets more expensive, but if the clomid isn't working it is the next step.  Unless you skip straight to IVF.  But learning how your body works with the injectibles with IUI is cheaper than learning how it works with IVF.  I'd probably go down the IUI with injectibles road before going to IVF.

hey i hate to post a ? here but im panicking!!!!! 1st day of last period was the 1 aug. not really reg though. i took a dollar general $4.00 test and it was very very light at 7 to 8 minutes but the package says not to read after 10. i took an ept last night and 2 oclock this morning and they are both so very faint but those showed up at 8 and 9 minutes into the test i timed them. what do yall think? im out of test money this week and no one is open at clinics here. as the tests have dried they have become more prominate
