PLEASE HELP ADVICE NEEDED

Hello, when I was 28 weeks with my son I was having a lot of pressure and pain so I went to the hospital, the OB there did an ultrasound and found a Prominate Left ventricle in my son's brain, I got a copy of the ultrasound as well as the report and took it in to my normal OB, he then told me he looked over the report and there was nothing to worry about and did not do a follow up ultra sound. My son is now 3 and last week we were driving and he fell asleep in the car. He started vomiting and was unresponsive, I called the squad and pulled him out of the car, laying him on his side facing the ground so he wouldn't aspirate. We got to the hospital and they refused to run any tests aside from normal blood work (CBC) and a chest xray. His blood work all came back normal and his chest xray was also normal. They wanted to discharge him and I refused telling the doctor that I have a little background expierence and even if I hadn't any normal person knows it is not "normal" for a child to quit breathing and vomiting. I insisted that the ER doctor call my son's peditrician and get his advice and oppinion first. His dr said not to discharge him and send him to Nationwide Children's Hospital (which I then had to insist on a squad transport in case it happened again on the hour drive there since the er doc said for me to transport). While at Children's they admitted my son, did blood work, EEG, EKG and an MRI, The blood work, EKG and MRI all were "normal" but his EEG showed seizure activity in his occipital lobe. They then monitored him and put him on anti-seizure meds twice a day and sent him home. I am wondering if there is any chance that the prominate left ventricle that was seen on the ultrasound would have anything to do with him having seizures? If anyone has any answers for me PLEASE let me know. I am extremely concerned for my son to the point it is hard to sleep since I am so worried that he will have another seizure while we are all sleeping and aspirate or quit breathing again.

I think you need to repost in the doctors forums but there is a fee.

Maybe your  hospital can give you a machine to monitor him at night for a while it must be so stressful for you

Yesterday while at the drs i thought that i was there because i had a ruptured cyst on my one and only ovary, i had been spotting and cramping some but come to find out i had a positive preg test.  the potting was not red but a brownish color but the ultrasound showed nothing, we don't know how far along i am because of my pcos and irregular periods.  they did an u/s and the tech said it could be to soon, am waiting on my hcg level results but should i be worried?  i never thought that i would be able to get pregnant on my own and was plesantly surprised yesterday my husband and i cried we were so happy.  any answers would be greatly appreciated. oh and i have stopped the brown spottting after only a day and a half and there are no cramps or anything anymore i feel calm for some reason and i can't stop smiling but am scared to get my hopes up

hi there, just so you know you posted a question under anothers question and you might have better luck with answers if you start a new question....

bleeding in the first trimester is very common, and because it has stopped is a good sign... if it ever starts again and becomes heavy accompanied with hard cramps then you need to get help...  as of right now there is nothing that you should be worried about... it sounds like your fairly early and i cant wait to hear how you tests go... good luck and congrats!!
