PREGNANCY AND BABY ASPIRIN

I JUST FOUND OUT THAT WE ARE PREGNANT AND I MY DOCTOR JUST GAVE PRENATAL VITAMINTS, PROGESTERONE CAPS, AND TOLD ME TO TAKE ONE BABY ASPIRIN.  HAS ANYONE TAKEN BABY ASPIRING AT THE BEGINING OF THERE PREGNANCY?

Congratulations!  The reason your dr probably told you take baby aspirin is to safeguard against miscarriage.  Some women have clotting disorders which can cause late miscarriage.  I also recently read about a study that said low-dose aspirin therapy also reduces the risk of preclampsia.

I took baby asprin up until about 32 weeks. It's to help with the blood flow around the uterus. I took that and progesterone and now have a healthy 14 wk old boy (I had 1 m/c prior). My sister also took it after two m/c and now has a beautiful 3 1/2 yr. old girl. Best of luck to you!

My doctor has been giving me aspirin for about 6 months now. I am on fertility drugs and I was told that its perfectly safe to take it during pregnancy in fact my doctor said it increases the lining of your uterus to prevent a miscarriage. I'm sure if your doctor told you to take it then it a Pos. thing.

Hello Everyone, This is my first time on. I I have had one missed m/c. It was determined at our 12week scan, the embryo died at 7weeks 3 days, I had no bleeding or pain there were no signs of m/c and yet had many symptoms of pregnancy so needless to say, it was devastating!and it took us 14 months to get pregnant again! we are about 6weeks PG now and I am soooo scared and excited. I had low progestrone 16.9 and was just about to start Clomid we thankfully fell PG before I started the drug. I am taking progestrone supositories now and I have heard of taking Aspirin but never baby aspirin, I find this very interesting. Should I try this on my own or go see my doctor? Thank you so much for all your comments, it really makes me feel like I am not alone in my worries. I will be 40 this week, I hope and pray we don't have another missed m/c.
