I am 21 weeks pregnant and am experiencing moderate pain and discomfort in my vulva area when I am standing or sitting for long periods. I am worried that it is a sign of premature labor or something. I think I am carrying really high like my last pregnancy, so I don't know if it could be from pressure or not. I have had these similar pains around time for my AF since I had my son 3 years ago. Is it just something that happens after you have had a baby or should I be concerned?
I think I may have responded to this one on another forum or another person, sorry if I did. It sounds a lot like a vericose vein. You can get them internally, too. When you are standing you have a lot of blood in that area due to gravity, also, you have more blood due to pregnancy. Best wishes, tmv
if TMV is correct, which it sounds like she could be I've had them, very unattactive and very uncomfortable, but not dangerous. My doc. said to keep my feet up when they are hurting and they get worse (sorry) as your pregnancy progresses but they go away after. GOod luck to you.
