I had the exact same thing and I am also pregnant with my second child. In fact, if I sneezed, the pain was so bad that I was pretty much paralyzed with pain for 1-2 minutes. Luckily that only lasted about 2 weeks and now I am 21 weeks along and I rarely get it anymore. I spoke to my Dr about it and he also said that it was the ligamentsAnterior cruciate ligament (acl) injury Tendon vs. ligament stretching and not to be worried. All I can tell you is onc they do stretch out, you will be ok, in the meantime, hang in there! Good luck to you!
Just to echo, same thing, i sneezed and the pain was unbearable in the same place. The doc said to hold your belly tight with your arms when you feel a sneeze coming on, and to try to get to an upright position, that its worse when it happens laying down. Now that i'm further along, it doesn't hurt when i sneeze anymore.
good luck!

Thank you for all of your replies. I went to the doctor today and did a sonogram. Saw the heart beating and everything looks great. I appreciate your input.
You should have Dr. check it out, Sounds like what I have, An cyst in my right ovary the size of a golf ball. It's not serious but it is painful. Talk to dr. and get a ultrasound done!
I am almost 6 weeks pregnant. I just sneezed and my left side felt like it would explode. I am so scared it could be something but after reading these posts I am a bit more comforted. Never knew pregnancy could be so painful
i had a very very bad pain on and of on each side of my tummy, when i was around 5-7 weeks prego....it was terrible, but the doctor said that my uterus is stretching and not to worry, so here i am 26 weeks prego now and doing pretty good :D
I had the same thing when I was pregnant. It's the ligament holding your uterus. It's just already strained from your growing baby. It happened to me when I stood up fast and sneezed, too. Nothing to worry about and nothing you can do about it except stand up slower! Good luck!
good luck!

I would double over in pain. I could not believe how bad that hurt. My poor DH would freak out everytime it would happen.
It goes away once the ligaments have stretched more though. Or at least it did for me.
Take care,
Amanda
im also 7 weeks now also get these weird pains i think we should not stress
