Pasta for 8 month old?

I was wondering what kind/type of pasta would be good for my DD? I love wheat pasta but can I give it to her? Thanks:) Also I wanted to ask if anyone else has a teething baby that does not drool alot? She is constantly chewing her gums together but she does not drool, not that I am complaining:) but I thought that when they start teething that they drool really bad.

i would be careful with the wheat pasta only b/c of allergies. if you know she is not allergic to wheat, then go for it. any shape of pasta is fine, you will have to cut it for her probably and stay away from spaghetti unless cut in very small pieces.

drooling - i don't know. my son was a drool machine from day one until now (15 months almost!) so, sorry, im no help there.

My baby is 8 months & loves all pasta's.Spaghetti,stars everything.But I do chop up very small.She has no teeth yet,but can chew like a pro.I never tried wheat for her.I give her Everything I eat or buy the Gerber chewables.Its like reg. Gerber but with bigger chunks.She hates runny foods,like stage 1&2.
About the drooling.Juliana will be non-drool for a while,but chew on everything & everything.Then she'll be a drolling machine.She's growing 2 on top & 2 on the bottom.Good luck :)

DD is just starting to really enjoy her food and of course she wants what mommy has instead of her food:) so I love pasta and eat a lot of it ( not good I know:) but I think she will enjoy it because it will because it will be the same as mine. As far as teeth go Amelia does not have any yet but we are patiently waiting. I just know that my cousin has a baby girl the same age as DD and she is a faucet and is always wet with drool:)
