Peanut Allergy?????

Peanut Allergy?????

This is going to sound strange but if you have a peanut allergy you would have them with all peanut products wouldn't you think????   Well I have noticed whenever I eat certain choc covered peanuts such as in a Mr Goodbar I have a weird feeling in my throat for a while.  I can eat Peanut M&M's and Reeces peanut butter cups so why wouldn't I feel this way with anything else.  My concern is IF I am allergic to certain types of peanuts can it harm my baby???  I am 7 wks pg and I had a sample at the grocery store and I think it was a Mr Goodbar bite and my throat has felt weird for the past hour and a half.   Any suggestions would be helpful.  Like I said my biggest concern is my baby.  thanks

Peanuts are peanuts, so I don't know what to tell you. People can be allergic to different kinds of nuts (pine nuts, walnuts, etc) but as far as I know, Mars uses the same kind of peanuts as everyone else. Mnetion it to your doctor, usually true peanut allergies are pretty severe.

Ive read recently on the net, (not intended to scare you)that pregnant women are advised not to eat peanut or peanut related products if theyve got an allergy because it may be harmful for the baby. Ill find it and post it for you.

God bless
