Pelvic Pain

Hi,

I'm 29 weeks pregnant and for the past 2 days I feel as if the baby is sitting on my pelvic bone.  How do I get him to shift?  Also, I've been having this fear that I'm going to give birth to a 10lb. baby.  I feel as if he's way too big for a 29 week fetus.  I also have been having period like cramping, is this normal for the this soon?

I know there are a lot of questions but I think the anxiety of giving birth is kicking in.

I had pelvic pain at around 27-29 weeks, now 31 weeks. It hurt to sit down, bend down, and sometimes walk. I would lay on my side and it eased the pain a little. By the time I went to the OB at 30 weeks. I was going to ask her what to do with the pain but it went away. My friend has really bad pelvic pain and they did physical therapy for a while but they told her that it won't go away till the baby is born. I took Tylenol and it would help a little.
If you're concerned I would call your doctor.

Thanks for the input.  At least I'm not the only one.  It's terrible, I wish he would move over.  I keep trying to push him over but he won't budge.  He's comfortable and I'm not.

I suffered from Pelvic Girdle Pain, if you "google" it, there is alot of info regarding it.  You are not alone, and Lilu is right, there isn't much that can be done to allieviate the pain until after the baby is born.(it went away almost immediately)  I am also suffering from sciatica, which, unfortunately, is still bothering me, 9 months post partum !  (still  better than the 2 of them combined!)

Yes, I'm feeling those lower back pains also.  I am ready to get this guy out.
