Period After D低

I am hoping someone can answer my question.  Four weeks ago I had a D&C due to a blighted ovum.  I started my period this week and it is very heavy.  Actually, I have never had a period this heavy before.  Is this normal?  Thanks.

I had a miscarriage in late May and when I got my period in July it was heavier then it has ever been and lasted much longer then normal.  The nurse at my ob/gyn office said this is not abnormal.  I did eventually have to go on progesterone becuase the period was not stopping on its own. I am taking that for two weeks (it stopped the bleeding) and supposedly when I stop it in about a week I will have a more normal period.  I didnt have a D & C though but I cannot imagine whether you had a natural miscarriage or a D & C that it would be much different.

I had a d & c in late April due to a blighted ovum as well.  I had my first period about 5 weeks post d & c and it was definitely heavier than I'm used to.  I had a period in June, July and now I'm on my 3rd period since my d & c and they've all been fairly heavy starting off, but this was has not been that bad.  I think it's very normal and hopefully this will be the last one I have for about nine months or so.  Good luck to you.

I had to have one as well and after mine, I bled for almost a month!  It was very heavy at first, but tapered off and was more of spotting after the first week, but it lasted a month- I hope yours doesn't!

I had a D&C on June 27th and got my period 33 days later....heavier and longer than ever before.
