Period after Breastfeeding

I had my son on OCtober 3rd of 2006, and breastfed on and off. I had my first period the day after Christmas, like a regular period prior to conception. I slowly weened my son off the breast, and completely stoped breasting feeding when he was 4 months old. It has been 5 months since i completely stopped feeding him and I still have not had my period. I have taken a few pregnancy tests that all have been negative. Should I be worried or give it some more time?
