Period or implanting bleeding

by Still a mom, Aug 10, 2005 12:00AM
Well I am really not sure what is going on with me. Last week I o'd and Monday I started spotting. I thought it might be implantation bleeding. Then it started getting to be more, like a really light period. Yesterday it started to slow down and now is almost gone. I was thinking it might be my first period since having Alex but it seems to soon after ovulating. I shouldn't have it for another week. What do you guys think it sounds like?

i am not sure but i had an implant bleed that was more like a light period with my son. but where you just had a baby it might be your body is still trying to get back to normal. especially if you are breastfeeding your cycles might not be regular for you yet. i would test in a week or so and call the dr if you are concerned.....being stressed isn't good for anyone especially if you are and have a sweet baby at home.

good luck and lots of love.....kimmie

It could be just breakthrough bleeding.  I would wait until your period is late and then test.

I had a miscarriage in May. In June my cycle came on from the 25th thru the 29th. In July, it came on for one day and that was on the 23rd and it was real light. I have taken pregnancy test and they were negative. Could I still be pregnant?

I agree with jluhart, I think break through bleeding, wait another week and then test. Good luck.

Break through bleeding is bleeding between cycles.  It is usually caused by hormones and is no big deal.
