Periods after D&C

I had a D&C on 12th oct,07 and did n't get my periods yet.. we are doing protected sex as the Dr. advise to wait for one normal cycle before ttc. My perganancy test which i have done 2day is also negative...I am desperatly waiting for the periods to come. Could any one knows when will i have periods?????

There isn't really any exact time period but it took me 6 weeks after my D&C to get my period and I have heard of it taking longer.

I just had a D&C Friday and my doc. told me that it was important that I bleed this week.  Did you bleed after you had the D&C like during that first week?  He said it made sure that the uterus lining was working and rethickening.  I would give him/her a call and ask since you've waited 2 full months almost.  I wish you the best. I have that feeling I'm going to be in your shoes 2 months from now when we start trying again.  Good luck!

Sorry for ur loss ..ur Dr. is right .. I had a D&C on 12th of oct,07 and bleeding continues for a week after D&C.

2day this morning i got my periods so i hope u ll also get ur periods after 6 wks of ur D&c if ur periods r regular 28 days cycle ...mine was irregular so my periods might got delayed becoz of irregular cycle.
