i agree with cmn....i had a friend that had that and as her uterus grew and stretched up into the abdomen it took the placenta with it and eventually it moved out of the way.
good luck to you

I too had placenta previa with my last son...I had other problems too and they were very concerned that my placenta was going to abrupt as I wsa dilated to 2cm and bleeding at 22 weeks..but needless to say everything worked out JUST FINE and he's now a VERY healthy VERY happy 3 year old ball of energy! =) Good luck to you!
hi
I had it nearly twelve years ago. Doc said no lifting no excercising no stairs. (I had no kids so that was doable then) plus I got my husband to carry teh laundry basket once in a while (ha ha) they ultrasounded me every two weeks until it was clear path (no sex obviously) then toward the end I was back to excercise mowing the lawn etc and healthy boy!
Good luck
I have just joined this forum as i was diagnosed with complete Placenta Previa at 20 weeks and am happy to say that i now have a beautiful baby girl who is 12 weeks old and i wanted to share my experience with you to help you feel positive. I have a 'heart shaped' uterus so that alone led me to have a prem baby first time around, i had my son at 30 weeks. On my second pregnancy, i had that condition with a risk of a prem baby along with complete Placenta Praevia and was told that it would be unlikely that it would move......it didn't either, i attended fortnightly scans and at 36 weeks the placenta still fully covered my cervix. I was petrified and couldn't stop reading all the awful things that COULD happen, none of them thankfully, did happen. I was fully aware that as i had already had 1 c-section i had the added risk of Placenta accreta so each day that passed was a bonus in my eyes and every time i went to the toilet i prepared myself for the worst as the consultant warned of the risk of bleeding and how it was imperative that i got to the hospital asap if i showed any signs. Anyway, i literally took everything extremely easy to prevent straining which was a struggle as my son was only 1 year old and not walking at the time of the diagnosis and he was 16 mnths by time i gave birth so was difficult to rest up and avoid lifting but family helped out. I was scheduled to have a c-section at 37 and a half weeks which i reached without any signs of bleeding whatsoever. The delivery went extremely well and i only lost 1litre of blood and other than having a 'classical' c-section cut on my uterus to avoid cutting the placenta and causing bleeding (which is obviously internal) the operation was the same as any other and the placenta came away as expected so no accreta. I was out of hospital with my beautiful baby just 3 days later and have recovered fine and am able to have more children should i decide to. Keep positive and stay strong x
