I have had that in two of my pregnancies. The best thing you can do is rest and totally stay off your feet- no heavy lifting at all. You may also get steroid shots (I had to get them) to mature the lungs once your little one is slightly further along- this helps in case of a premature delivery. I was scared too but, with bedrest --very strict bedrest--some of the bigger tears did actually start to heal up.One of the babies was born almost full term (they induced early), however, the baby was quite small due to the tears in the placenta. Totally healthy, though, other than that. Best of luck!
