Please Help.. I have a few questions

Hey Girls,
           I have a few things i would like to ask you.. 1. I was running like a clock with a 25day cycle.. well this month i was supposed to start the 6th but i started spotting the 4th.. and i had a normal period the next day.. so my question is when can i tell im ovulating?? should i act like my next cycle will come on the 25th day?? i was under alot of stress. my fiance has been sick and all this other ****'ola around here.. btw.. me and fiance are great now.. we took a weekend get away over the weekend and just had fun.. off from fri-monday morning and it was a blast.. we decided to start trying for a baby this month and i just need a lil advice on how to do my calander for this month.. and what i should do about the cycle days.. any advice would be greatly appreciated.. thanx =).. i would also like to add.. i dont do bbt i just never really felt or got in the habit of doing it.. so should i just go by CM?? i would like to just do this kinda the natural way without doing all the bbt charting and all opk.. i would like to just do the calander day and CM type thing.. so thanx...

I'm with you girl.  I think that's what I'm  going to do this month.  I miscarried in April and we started ttc in July.  We were unsuccessful in July and August and I think I know why.  I was doing the ovulation predictor kits and having sex for about 5 days leading up to the positive ovulation test.  The only thing that I think I screwed up on was that when I would get the positive ovulation test, then we would have sex that day, then we wouldn't have sex again for like four days or so. The reason I think I didn't get pregnant was because I would notice the egg white cm about 1 1/2 days to  2 days after the ovulation test was positive but we weren't having sex on that day for one reason or another.  I was just assuming that by having sex on the day I got the positive ovulation test that we were covering our bases, but when I read the directions, they said that once you get a positive ovulation test, you will usually ovulate 24 to 48 hours later.  Stupid of me to read the directions AFTER the fact.  ANYWAY, I think that I was definitely ovulating when I saw the egg white cm, just should've had sex that day.  I also only saw the egg white cm one time when I went to the bathroom, the next time I didn't notice it....so I think it's only around for a very short time.  

I think that the egg white cm is definitely a good sign of ovulation, even more so that the cramps, and little twinges you might feel around ovulation.  I got cramps, and sore boobs and little twinges about 2 or three days BEFORE the egg white cm.  This month I think we'll just relax and have sex every morning and every evening for about three days leading up to ovulation and for about three days AFTER I think I ovulated.  I'm on a VERY REGULAR 32 day cycle and have had the egg white cm on day 19 of my cycle for the past three months so I think it's safe to say that I'll ovulate again around the 19th day again.  

I hope that this hasn't been way to long...I just thought I'd let you know I'm kinda in the same boat as you.  Good luck. Let me know how you are doing.  :)

Hey YOU! I've been wondering where you've been?  Are you doing ok?  You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but do you mind me asking what kind of surgery you had?  Are you pregnant? OR still trying?  I am obviously still ttc...I am not stressing so much this month about it, if it happens great, if not, we'll just keep trying til it does happen.  Let me know how you are...so good to hear from you.

The EWCM is your body's way of saying "Hey!  Now is the time!"  I was using an ovulation predictor kit, but more as an aside.  When I saw that EWCM I grabbed hubby. *g*

Oh, Im doing fine. I had surgery 2weeks ago on my right shoulder. We are still ttc but this month may be out of the question due to all the meds I have been on. Other then that, things are going well. AF should be here anytime after next week, then we will start ttc and start using opk's. Good luck to you this month. Keep me posted.
