My husband and I always have a hard time getting pregnant. We have been pregnant 3 times each time ending w/ a miscarriage. We were of course devastated each time. The babies passed away around 8 wks along. I don't expel the baby, and I have to have a DNC. Someone said it's called a "mismiscarriage". We hope to try again within in the next year. It will be 2 years since our last m/c. They did so many test to me to figure out what's going on. Every test comes back saying that I'm "perfect" and should be able to have a healthy pregnancy. The only thing I can see that comes back is the fact that I am 0 neg blood type. So I have got the rhogam shot each time. My doctor says that wouldn't cause the miscarriage; the Rh factor don't start affecting the pregnancy until the 28th week. But I have a friend that says her doctor said she needs the rhogam asap. Maybe even before she gets pregnant. My question is: Is there any way that my body has developed so many antibodies that it detects the baby almost as soon as I get pregnant and attacks the baby sooner than most women w/ 0 neg blood type? Do you think this may have caused my babies heart from continuing to develop? That seems to be what happens the; heart stops beating. Please help me.
