I am 14 weeks pregnant. On 15th jan, I went for my dating scan. I supposed I would be 13 weeks 4 days pregnant (from my LMP) but ultrasound said i was 14 weeks 1 day.. which also move due due date 4 days ahead.
it's sometime hard for them to find the heartbeat using a doppler as they are still so low in the uterus, don't be worried it may be still too early for the doppler at least you got to hear it on the ultrasound, give it a few more weeks
Hi! I'll be honest...I had a sonogram 4 days before my OB appointment and everything looked great- heartbeat 189, etc. and then I went for my regular OB (I too was 13 weeks 4 days) and they couldn't find a heartbeat, told me not to worry that it was probably low and my uterus was tilted back and had a sonogram then and no heartbeat and we lost the baby. However, there is a good chance that they just couldn't hear it. I'm just telling you my experience as it can happen even if you had a sonogram 2 days earlier. I just wanted to be completely honest with you. I wish you the best of luck.
I remember being frustrated about not hearing the heart beat early in pregnancy. 2-26 seems like a long time away. Why dont you give it about two weeks and then call and ask if you can come in just to hear the hearbeat. My OB has an "open door" when it comes to going in at anytime to hear heart tones.
