Positive Pregnancy Test followed by Negative Result after IVF eggs tranfer

I have done my home pregnancy test (first response) in the morning on Saturday and came out positive - very fair. It was 8 days after my IVF 5 days eggs transfer. I took another test on Sunday and it was negative (also morning urine), although I cannot put my finger there, since it did had a shadow, but that could also be a evaporation line. I am very confused, did anyone of you still have the same experience? I am taking progesterone injections, and my period didn't come yet. I am waiting right now for my blood result and it is taking for ever... it was my first IVF after trying over a year.

Hello. With my first fresh IVF transfer I did the hpt on the night before the blood test, it came out negative and the test next day was negative too.With my frozen cycle I did not test at home. Doc said not to test with IVF cycles as hormone levels are high. hpt  can be false.

Can I ask you ladies a question?  Were any of the IVF procedures covered by insurance and if not, how much did it cost?  This may be an option for dh and I so I'm wondering.  I'm sorry I couldn't answer your first question but I do hope you are pregnant.  Thank you!
