Positive home tests but negative blood test

I have taken 5 home pregnancy tests and they all came back positive, a very sketchy positive but deff positive.  The lines that make it positive were alot lighter but they were there.  I have used 4 different brands of tests and finally i got a digital one and it said pregnant.  However I went to the dr and got the blood test done and it came back negative, whats the deal?? They are doing a second test but Im just worried

This happened to me last month.  You can see the pics on my page.  I don't know the deal, maybe chemical pregnancy? maybe false positive?  what brand did you use?

i have used answer, Clear blue, clear blue digital, I dont know I took another one this morning and it was positive again.  They took blood on monday, I took the digital one tuesday and it was positive, they called me yesterday and said the blood was negative so as of yesterday morning i was showing positive stil. Then this morning I took another one and it was positive.

hopefully it will show soon on the blood test.  are they doing quantitive or qualititive?  did they give you numbers?

did all that make sense??  Basically what im saying is that when they did te blood test the next day i was still showing positive.  I dont know what kind of blood test they did he said syrum blood test, no they didnt give ne numbers.

Ask them if they did the blood test that reads out what your Hcg levels are, this gives an accurate depiction of what is going on. I don't really know what else to tell you but I would certainly go back in and say look I took these urine tests they have all been positive...what is going on? Best of luck.

definitely ask for the numbers... I love the digital ones then there is no guessing if that negative is a positive sign etc... good luck with the next blood test but i would def ask for the numbers... my first number at 2 weeks post ovulation were 37 i think its over 5 is considered pregnant?
